Some atmospheric optics were visible just before sunset this evening; I think this bright one directly above the sun is called an upper tangent arc.
The Barstow School inducted juniors and seniors to the Barstow chapter of The Cum Laude Society on 30 January 2013.

September 8, 2014 - The Upper Chapel of Sainte-Chapelle was reserved for the king and other members of the royal family. It was built by Louis IX in 1248 to house Christ's crown of thorns, which has been moved to Notre-Dame treasury. It was currently undergoing a restoration of the great Rose Window. Located on the Île de la Cité in the fourth arrondissement. Paris, France.
Thanks to ressaure for the corrected ID. Inonotus tomentosus aka Onnia tomentosa with a light brown cap and a dark brown margin. It look so soft and fuzzy, thus the name. Growing in soil and moss under conifers. Basidiomycetes, Agaricomycetidae, Hymenochaetales, Hymenochaetaceae, Bebo Grove, Fish Creek Provincial Park, 2926September_07__2009
Principia Upper School wrestlers went to a tournament, and faced opponents from large St. Louis schools such as CBC, DeSmet, Vianney, and Hazelwood - great practice for Districts!

Redmires Upper Reservoir, Sheffield - drained for repairs. Had to climb over the fence and wander down to the base of the reservoir.
