The Upper Geyser Basin (Yellostone National Park) is famous for hosting Old Faithful Geyser. But there is much more in the area than just this famous geyser. The Upper Geyser Basin also boasts the largest concentration of geysers in the world, including many of the worlds largest geysers.
A view north along the Upper Dove Valley taken from an unnamed hilltop on the eastern side of the valley.
Looking north along Upper Street towards Highbury Corner, Islington. On the left-hand you can see the Hope & anchor pub and Rackstraw's drapery store. On the right-hand are the extensive and well manicured gardens opposite the Compton Terrace townhouses, and the Victorian Gothic spire of the Union Chapel. 1911.
Upper Hinton Rd taken in March 2009. The Exchange Buildings stands empty ready for it's impending refurbishment. On the left you can see part of the former Ellerslie Mansions Hotel building.

This was a day trip to the Upper Portals, Montserrat Lookout and back along a ridge above the Upper Portals.
This powerful waterfall is located only about 1/4 mile upriver from the 308-foot tall Lower Falls. Upper Falls is 109 feet high.

Upper Neuadd Reservoir was built between 1896 and 1902 in part from limestone quarried near Dowlais brought in using the same railway. Other stone was sourced from quarries between Pant and Pontsticill down the valley. With a water level of 1506ft/459m, this reservoir is the highest in Fforest Fawr Geopark and indeed in Brecon Beacons National Park.
The mountains to the left of the photograph are Cribyn and Fan y Big.
