Whoa! What a busy week! Time to relax it's nearly the weekend! How has your week been? Hopefully good!
This photo was taken last year for our first family holiday in Europe! I wish I could go back there right now!

Happy Earth Day! I'm going to take this opportunity to encourage you to get out there and enjoy this amazing, beautiful planet we live in. Please also do your part to help preserve the environment so that future generations are able to experience magnificent views like this.

Couple things:
First, we have had a pretty sweet summer, photo-wise. This here was shot during a mini, micro, barely a shoot we had last Friday. We almost called it off because the sky was so wonky and full of clouds but we decided to stick it out, because the Oratory's a cool place to hang out, pictures or no. Good thing, too, because at the last second the sun dipped just below that giant mass of clouds and THIS happened, and we took this picture, and it was dark and awesome and great.
Second, we are freaking loving what the Impossible Project has been producing of late. Yesterday we had ourselves another low-planning, fairly excellent shoot that resulted in no less than three packs of Instant film (Polaroid, Impossible, and new test film!) being shot. Suffice it to say we were pleased with what we got. You'll just have to wait a little longer to see those, but for now there's this.
Which ain't too bad, either. On tumblr.

Unwind in the plaza after dinner. The resort surroundings are decorating with the glimmering Christmas lights all over the fountain and the street!

Where we sit in the evening: a corner of our bedroom where we chat and read and where you can find me crocheting endlessly and ripping our magazine pages for inspiration
Want to leave your worries,
and stress behind?
Follow this path into the woods,
and start to unwind.

It's been three years ago tonight that I photographed this series of a tornado forming and then unwinding over a local lake. It was great seeing although a bit frightening!
