Through the struggles and sacrifices of the Cragmaloids and the Freedom Fighters, the TaggeCo slavers have been defeated, and ANKUS has been freed.
Most of the Freedom Fighters depart to Ilum, but for the first time, the grateful Cragmaloids take a leap of faith and invite outsiders to dwell among their proud people. The Followers of the Force are given land to establish villages, where they might live in harmony with the native people and find their lives enriched by the spirit of this ancient planet.
The village of Pathabigani (meaning "Trust Given to Friends" in the Cragmaloid's bellowing language) is currently preparing a select few for an expedition to a far-off system in search of Force-important artifacts. But in the late afternoon we see that work for the day has wound down. The researchers, technicians, farmers, and refugees all enjoy food and drink, mingling and talking and joking together. Everyone's attention gradually turns to the game of Corellian Spike being played by the runaway Prince, the wandering Bo'Barbi, and Sakaru Onichi in the lamplight under the awning. Suddenly, the crowd erupts into cheers and groans: at a climatic moment Sakaru reveals a winning Bantha's Wild, cementing the Prince's shocking defeat. Nobody is more shocked than the Prince himself, but Sakaru takes the victory with grace.
Just finished up a three day show in Whitefish, MT. All I can even think about doing after these shows is grabbing a cold beer and taking a long walk in the woods alone...unwind...

This is a page from 'Unwind in the Wilds' illustrated by Sarah Taylor and produced by 'Derwent Colour and Relax'.
I bought the book as a promo pack complete with ten Derwent Coloursoft pencils at quite a low price. The offer price seems to have gone up £4 since I bought it!
The book comes with instructions, a colour wheel and a couple of completed coloured in pages.Seemingly ideal for beginners and youngsters but perhaps isn't everyone's cup of tea.
So far I have given the bird its first coating but it now needs at least another one over the top.
I honestly can't work out what leaves, flowers or buds are growing from the branch.Jan says just start and see what develops. Keeping to the ten Coloursoft pencils makes it more of a challenge.
If I do finish it I'll attempt to put it on Flickr in due course.

Going to start to mix it up a bit more, been doing so many seascapes lately I need a bit of variety I reckon
My first real venture out of the house this week and my wife spotted these, thought they were quite swan like and almost sharing a moment as they unravell, had to keep the crop tight, lots of other unravellers looking on :-)

The images in my head are becoming more precise, which is getting frustrating. The details are never truly portrayed as I wish they would be. This is causing for a lot more time consuming shoots, but I also feel the more vivid mental images are signs of growth. Here is the fruit of today’s labors.

My Dad on a lake shore. I know his favorite place to relax was on the lake, or fishing. I remember him heading to the "point" a shoreline in Delavan Wisconsin to fish after dinner. He often caught fish, perhaps for the next nights dinner. The stray cats always got the leftover bones and guts.
My Dad also fished using his boat.
