Everyone has to build a gigantic super ship at some point in their MOCing career...

And yes, it's waaaay too big to be a Frigate, but it looks like one, so there!

Our victory - your victory - was so close, I wish you could've lived to see it.

The DMR, formally the M392 Designated Marksman Rifle, is a bullpup rifle used by the UNSC Army and Marines during the fall of the human colony Reach. In lore, it fires 7.62x51mm rounds in semi-auto and full-auto fire modes. In game, it is only semi-automatic.

The LEGO DMR is 35.5 inches long (scaled down from a Spartan's 42.9-inch DMR, which is 117% the size of that issued to non-Spartan units), weighs 5.5 pounds, and is possibly my sturdiest rifle model to date. Working features: moving trigger, removable magazine, sliding bolt handle.

Once again proudly utilizing one of BrickWarrior's Galaxy Enforcer armor sets i've put together the commanding officer of the Spartan contingent aboard the UNSC Infinity, Commander Palmer!

The preview photo I posted was clearly incapable of serving the figure justice, at that time I had only completed what you had seen. Her hair piece took a little getting used to, as we have all seen the original hair piece used countless times. However I certainly trust that it serves it's purpose and is a much better choice than this. The additional shot you see above the figure is a recreation of the character's most famously definitive quote : "They believe this is the home of one of their gods! Way I see it, if those freaks wanna meet God, it's our duty to help them along!". The BrickArms DMR with which she's wielding features a painted scope and various other details.

If you leave a favorite, i'd love to hear your feedback below! :)

I felt like I needed to make a better one to outbuild some of these fools. :3

George adjusted the feed to his comm link...

"Where's the rest of your team, trooper?"

"Scattered, dead. I don't know."

Before he had the chance to respond back, a phantom directed fire towards his Warthog.

As multiple plasma rounds splashed onto the LRV, George noticed the hull was burning.

"Jump!" He warned the Marines.

It was too late. The Warthog exploded to pieces, just as he let his hands fly off of the chaingun's handle.

George was bruised from the rough landing. The Phantom, believing the troopers were eliminated, went back to it's buisness and soared off into the distance.

George pulled himself up and began making haste towards an executive building that was occupied by other UNSC forces.

While under fire.

"Man the Turret!"

-includes UNSC Marine figure.

-Features Battle Rifle, and Turret.

This is my entry for the Contest over in the Lego Halo group. I took inspiration from the Turret in Halo 2, and went in-game for accuracy's sake (I moved the ammo drum from the front under the barrel to the back - as is the norm for most other turrets in Halo). So anywho, I wish I had some Brickarms for this thing. :\

Cyclops is the Hrunting Mk.III Exoskeleton from HALO WARS. It's originally used to be an engineering mecha, then became a marines mecha in the game. This creation is referred to HALO WARS 2 version, which is with autocannon mounted on its right arm.

It is not a common mecha compared to Gundam, but more similar to Matrix APU. The shape is like giant as its name without head, instead it has a big eye, its cockpit window screen. By the way, in the game the window screen is golden, but there is no golden parts suitable for it. So I used bright orange parts to represent the window screen.

This creation I planned to build out long time ago, is now by using some technic and bionicle parts to solve some critical building issues. For example, the lower side of legs is composed of some bionicle parts, which could provide more support to its weight and also more flexible on its mobility. Moreover, the bionicle armor parts are also fit for the shape of cyclops's legs.

In the beginning, I built this mecha as buff as an America football player with ripped muscle arms and legs. However, the final size of creation is much more larger than the size in the game, which should be 3~4 human height.

My own custom Halo 3 UNSC Marines, using new olive green Brickforge Shock Trooper armor and helmets. Helmets have the visor drilled out. Why the drilled out Shock Trooper helmets? Because Marines wear what's basically an ODST helmet without a visor or chin, and I hate modded Powered Assault Helmets used as Marine helmets.

I hate painting... but I hate decals more.

This red UNSC Spartan minifigures is one of the latest images Ed shot for us. See the rest on his stream: www.flickr.com/photos/25335276@N02/

I think this combination looks kind of cool and somewhat resembles the Halo marines. I know this is not completely accurate.

Turret design by BrickTechStudios

to celebrate CE anniversary I know meh face is meh

Since this year is the 10th anniversary of Halo 3, one of my all time favourite games, I thought it would be appropriate to post my LEGO version of the D77H-TCI Pelican from the game.

To me the Pelican is one of the most iconic ships in video game history (basically the Millennium Falcon of video games) and I always wanted to have a LEGO version of this ship.

This model has been in a box for almost 2 years now. I've completed the main build before I started with most of my other MOCs I posted on flickr. It took almost another half a year to colour all the bricks.

Yes, all olive bricks are spray painted. After seeing how good the paint on the UNSC Mantis turned out, I just had to paint the Pelican as well.

After all, I wanted a definitive version :D

I already displayed this at the Comic Con Germany this and last year.

But due to the size I never came around to take proper pictures.

As you will notice my MOC takes huge inspiration from Benny Bricksters amazing Pelican from 2011. I absolutely love his version and think he nailed the proportions. Actually, his build is one of the reasons why I started building MOCs in the first place.

He takes full credit for many of the visible design solutions.

So I already knew which dimensions the MOC would be, which gave me the opportunity to focus on building a sturdy inner frame.

Because one thing I desperately wanted to achieve is the Pelican not needing a second stand to hold the overhang.

The original Pelican stands on one front wheel and two tiny arms which fold down. Since the build is far too heavy to be held by these two arms, you definitely need one small stand under the troop bay.

But almost half the model (including the back thrusters) at the back "floats" and has no stand. I am quite happy that the inner frame is strong enough to hold that part. So Warthogs can drive under it :)

Additionally all four engines/wings are rotatable. The model has a build interior in the cockpit and the troop bay but it is hard to access.

The white logos are printed on, while the red arrows are stickers.

Over the last weeks I made some additional changes and incorporated some of the new LEGO pieces. I also redid some of the paint work.

The Warthog is Nick Bricks awesome design which I altered just a little bit by using a non-LEGO part.

I know not everybody in the LEGO community approves of painting LEGO but I still hope you guys like the build! :)

Whats a Halo 4 Chief without a cryo chamber? :)

Custom 1/12 scale female ODST figure from Halo with 3D printed armor pieces.

My rendition of the UNSC Warthog. I know purists are going to kill me for this but I had to do it lol. The custom weapons are from HCF Lego 3D Productions and the Marine Helmets are Hazels new Halo Marine Helmets. The perfect oppurtunity to build up a UNSC army! The base instructions for the warthog are from Legohaulic. Wow and I also just realized I spelled APPLICATION wrong lol. Im just going to take the easy way out on this one and leave it as is.

I believe that the sound of racking the pump of a shotgun is universally recognized as "kiss your ass goodbye".

The M90 Shotgun is a UNSC shotgun that fires Soellkraft 8-Gauge Magnum rounds. It is most effective in close quarters combat.

The LEGO M90 Shotgun is built to look like its appearance in the Halo 2 Anniversary campaign.

Length: 40"

Weight: 6 pounds

Functions: moving trigger, loadable upper magazine tube (6 shells), loadable chamber (+1 shell), working pump action ejection mechanism and shell feed system

Features: light-up sights, pump grip, and flashlight by Brickstuff LEDs

The ultimate Halo figbarf, built to showcase some of the latest custom accessories, including several BrickArms I made myself at Will's workshop.

52 minifigures:

* John-117 & Cmdr. Sarah Palmer

* 4 squads of six Spartans

* 3 squads of six ODSTs

* 8 Marines for manual labor & cannon fodder

(With Tyler's Warthog.)

Utilizing BrickWarrior's Galaxy Enforcer Armor and a heavily modified BrickForge Shock Trooper helmet, i've attempted a Spartan IV in Recruit armor. For those of you who are unaware, a majority of these Spartan IVs accompany you through Halo 4's campaign. Now that the game launched, I took a stop in one of the campaign missions and got plenty of reference shots. I will admit, not even those were the most clear images and some parts of this figure remain inaccurate. However, I fit just about everything I could.

Obviously the torso armor is based off of the Master Chief's, and therefore I had to work around that which I happy to say I was able to accomplish the character's likeness despite the major armor differences.

Just to clarify, the figure is wielding an over molded BrickArms Railgun in the secondary angle.

I more than likely will not make a second Recruit spartan, i'd rather move onto other characters. Palmer perhaps? ;)

Also, I noticed the brightness of this shot makes the visor seem rather hard to look at if you will - but you'll probably see this figure pop up in future photos :)

For those of you who want to know how I made this ; )

from halo combat evolved

Here is the final Hornet design! After a week of revisiting my old design and looking at your feedback on the WIP photos (now deleted), I have applied the necessary changes to make this Hornet the most accurate design possible. Please feel free to leave any additional C&C because I'm still open to making slight changes. Take a look at some of the different angles and views I made of this model. A Youtube video is coming in the next month so stay tuned! Also, I will be on vacation in California for the next 3-4 weeks, so no uploads for a while. This also means that I won't be attending BrickFair. ( ;_; ) To everyone who's going, have fun! I look forward to seeing photos of some of the creations there! See you starside.

tried to recreate a piece of halo reach concept art

I'll give it a try in November when the new UNSC army troop figures are out.

My newest creation: a LEGO Halo: Reach UNSC Mobile Turret

The UNSC Mantis from Halo 4.

In some poses, it can stand on its feet without additional support.

LDD instructions on Mocpages

With one of my UNSC soldiers for a size comparison. Worked a lot on the detail and the overall size decreased a bit. What do you think?

My other half would have nightmares if she saw this

UNSC Marine from the Megabloks Halo series

The Pelican is the primary UNSC air vehicle. It is seen in all Halo games, but is only pilotable briefly in the Campaign.

This is my rendition of the Pelican used/seen in Halo 4. This model was built over the course of 2-2 1/2 weeks on and off. I'd pick at it during the week, but due to the time I have during the week, the major sections were added/completed over the course of the past three weekends. I really enjoyed building this and I love the final product, I hope you do too! Sorry if the picture isn't the best! And let me tell you what, this thing is fun to swoosh!

Features:

-The areas with red on them are the bottom propulsion jets and can be moved both forward and backward.

-The wings can angled forward and angled backward. The turret on top can rotate a full 360 degrees.

-The landing gear can be retracted.

-The troop bay door can open.

-The back engines can go up and down.

Enjoy!

Lego Halo: Reach UNSC UH-144 Falcon

After Nannans Warthog and way before i thought about HALO vehicles in sandgreen.

I was collecting sandgreen but hadn´t thought that i really could build something halolike that i might be happy with.

Today i had this slizers windshield in my hand again and suddenly it made BAM.

The Warthog is for desert operations(i had no sandgreen left)

and can be carried by the pelican through magnets.

Before today i thought about a minfig version of both, but i guess i´ll need to bricklink a lot to get this to a high level.

But for now i´m really happy with my midiscale Pelican.

When in contact with Covenant forces, UNSC forces can be expected to be dealt casualties exceeding 50 percent. If static positions, such as a Forward Operating Base, are being held then recon patrols should be put into place. Forward recon troops can serve as an early warning system, or as a last resort transponder in the event of a total loss of a static position. Marines are trained for recon operations, but if available and already deployed ODST forces are recommended to be used in these operations.

~Excerpt from UNSC Operations manual, addendum 1 "Planetary Operations Against Covenant Forces"

Whilst out in London earlier today, I saw this familiar looking vehicle in a Microsoft shop near Oxford Circus station

"Near the start of the Human-Covenant War, the Covenant attacks an Outer Colony of the human race - Dwarka. As they glass the planet, the Marine's and ODST's stationed on the fleet orbiting the planet above struggle to hang on to their colony. The Covenant eventually glass the entire planet."

Here an ODST and a Marine make their way through one of Dwarka's businesses, only to find a lone Unggoy inside. A well-thrown grenade kills the Grunt instantly. On the rooftop, the Marine shoots at an incoming Banshee.

Made for Best Bricker against Nick Roth and [F]ade. Challenge is a Halo vignette.

This is my first Halo build that I have ever done, so this is a new genre for me. I think I know enough about the series that I can do fairly well building some things.

I have some BF Spartan armor and a BA Needler coming in the mail - so some Red VS. Blue or some more vigs/scenes won't be too far away.

This was the vig that I partially melted down! I replaced the bricks and used some of the melted ones as debris!

Grunt design belongs to Kylan.

My 1:4775 scale LEGO model of the UNSC Spirit of Fire/Phoenix-class from Halo Wars! It uses 2,386 pieces and measures 53cm/21in long.

Love how it came out, Halo Wars is really special for me so this was really fun!
