Unity!! I was pleasantly surprised when I showed this photo to Mr. Schwab for something else, and he told me it was a great example of unity. I just really liked the concept, and it was a more of in the moment shot than planned, and it only required editing not reshooting. This is definitely one of my favorite breadth because it is an example of unity and adds diversity to my portfolio.

Well,it's true that I worked a lot in Lightroom 2.0 for this image...mainly with exposure...I thought it is better to share this version.

At least this image expresses something....which I couldn't find in main version.

Unity was once located just to the west of what is now the Springdale Colony, which was founded in 1959. A post office opened at Unity in 1880 (June 4) with Charles Cook as postmaster. It was closed in 1912 (December 15).

Andrew Geoghegan Platinum and 18ct Golds Unity Inserts with Diamond, Blue, Yellow and Pink Sapphires. Originally developed for the Unity rings, these are eminently wearable in their own right, alongside other rings from my collection or with other Unity inserts. When the colours are mixed, a contrasting and refreshing style is achieved.

The Maryland Military Department celebrated Unity Day, an event designed to enhance cross-cultural awareness and promote harmony, May 22, 2014, at the Fifth Regiment Armory in Baltimore. Unity Day included displays, artifacts, games/activities, food samples from the different groups as well as live music and dancing. This year's theme was celebrating women. (Photo by Staff Sgt. The New Jersey Army and Air National Guard celebrated Unity Day on Thursday, June 18, 2015 at the National Guard's Joint Training and Training Development Center at Fort Dix, New Jersey. This year's observance kicked off with a 5K Fun Walk/Run followed by official ceremonies.

The New Jersey National Guard was the first state militia in the country to desegregate. In April of 1930, with the full support and encouragement of then Governor Alfred Driscoll, the State Legislature took the unprecedented step of approving the formation of the First Separate Battalion, New Jersey Army National Guard. Even though these actions were in apparent violation of federal law, the state appropriated funds for the organization of this battalion. In July of 1931, 63 members of Company A of New Jersey's newest unit were mustered-in at an old movie theater in Newark, New Jersey.

I had the luxury of being in Morocco the night of the FIFA Club World Cup Final with Morocco's Casablanca team playing at home against Munich. I wondered into McDonalds for a quick dessert and pushed through the huge crowds of fans watching the match on the TV to the till, where the staff pictured above were clearly supporting their team and watching the match evolve eagerly. Draped with scarves and complete with matching face paint, they served quickly during commentaries and cheered during play. The atmosphere in this little community was absolutely incredible - I don't particularly enjoy watching football but the excitement was infectious and I was gripped. I guess you can't deny that power football holds - the power of unity.

Beyond the heavens of the dream world lies the dream verse.

Crossing these spaces requires mathematical geniuses, one who navigates and another who calculates.

The two of them quickly figure it out and reach their destination in no time.

Unity Hall was constructed in 1887 at 3140 S. Indiana Ave. for the Lakeside Club, a Jewish social organization. It became the home of Cong. Oscar DePriest's Peoples Movement Club in 1917, Churches have occupied the building since the 1950s. It continued to deteriorate during the early 2010s, but has since been renovated into apartments.

"In 1890, the first bridge across Fall Creek was constructed by Nels Roney. That 129-foot Howe structure cost Lane County $2,925.

The original bridge was finally removed in 1953, having served as a foot bridge since 1936. A new covered span was built three-fourths of a mile upstream in 1936 at the community of Unity.

The county used a standardized 90-foot Howe truss design but added a full length window in the east side to give motorists a glimpse of oncoming traffic, adding an aesthetic effect to the structure. The county spent only $4,400 in constructing the span.

In July 1986, Lane County temporarily closed the bridge for repairs. In addition to replacing the flooring, other work included repair of the piers and guardrails, exterior painting, and removing evidence of vandalism.

The bridge crosses Fall Creek just a few miles from the Pengra, Lowell and Parvin covered bridges.

Bicycle tours often include this span in their rural routes."

Andrew Geoghegan 18ct Yellow and White Gold Unity Emerald with 33 point emerald cut centre stone G VVS, 33 points FG VVS on the insert and 3 points baguette cut at the back. The giving of rings so often symbolizes the unity or intended unity between two people. This was AG's starting point when designing the Unity rings. Creating a ring that gave the appearance of one ring but on closer inspection the stone-set insert is removable. The Unity can be worn as one, or separately, and sapphire or ruby inserts can add a stunning, colourful contrast.
