Their might be a few others too, but none as important! To be able to roam the hills and mountains with the dog and hunting friends, to get all those amazing views, the exitment, to be sweat and tired, sometimes cold, to sometimes bring home a deer. That is such a great activity.

This is from a hunt in mid October, it was still an amazingly beautiful fall. There are photos from a couple of other hunts at different dates too in the first comment.

And in the fourth picture is it possible to see parts of a fallen deer, just in case some don't want to do so. It is the whole purpose of the hunt to bring home game, so to me is it the most natural thing to capture. But I have understood some disagree in that matter.

The North has become a kind of drug for me, if I don’t go there for a long time, then it starts to break me down. Therefore, when it was a long weekend, I didn’t think much, packed my things and went to the mountains. Although I understood that there was nothing special to shoot there in winter, this did not stop me. I had a wonderful weekend, riding a snowmobile, sleeping and sometimes going out to shoot the sunrise. Here is the result of one of these outings.

I bougth a Rodenstock Depth of field calculator for my work with the graflex cams. I found out that this slide rule is also suitable for the Mamiya, since it also has a bellows focuser. Familiarizing yourself with this device was a bit cumbersome - but in the end I understood how it works. So here is the first photo, with an exactly set depth of field... somehow realy cool! :))

This monster cloud was the first time I understood what a bubble cloud was all about. Called mammatus clouds, ie, mammary cloud, they look like a a cellular pattern of pouches hanging underneath the base of a cloud.

UPDATE: My dear friend Anja (blondepowers) identified this blossom. It is a Magnolia Stellata , also known as a Star Magnolia. Also, the flower that I uploaded yesterday for Eva was not a tulip... it was an Anemone . I'm such a dork. I buy bulbs all the time and forget what I planted. Hahaha. Thank you Anja for identifying my flowers!

Well, well, well, I have to shake my head and say that I fully understood that these guys eclose (hatch) on their own time.

Only about half of the ones I raised earlier in the season have eclosed and the rest are just hanging out taking up space.
