I once again was stuck on browns and gold working this outfit. I paired with a wonderful headwrap of browns with the same pattern as the leggings, and brown nails, and gold jewelry to give it a gypsy feel.

...Bought the tee shirt.
It was a nice garment, but I had to pass. It violated two little rules of mine for tee shirts:
1) No white shirts. They stain too easily, and when you wear them with shorts you're just a stone's throw away from looking like someone on "COPS" who's being thrown against the hood of a car and cuffed for meth possession.
2) Artwork must be on the front, not the back. Otherwise, no one sees it. And when you're apparently walking around in an undershirt, the "COPS" thing is even harder to ignore. You can practically hear some 44-year-old woman in a tube top yelling "He's a good man, officer! Don't take him away! He's a good man!"

Presented here is a recent commissioned 1:6 Scale Tailoring work based on the outfit worn by Walter Slezak as the Clock King in the 1960s Batman show.
The clothing set consists of a two piece black suit jacket, matching trousers, white undershirt with black neck tie and black cloak adorned with Red lining and velvet collar. The costumes set is also adorned with various clock faces based on the TV Show look.

This is the first of 11 photos taken on Friday, 22 December 2023, for a photo session I've titled "White Christmas" because I'm wearing white athletic tights and a white polo shirt, as well as a white thong under my tights and a white sheer nylon athletic undershirt under my polo shirt. And the Christmas stocking cap I'm wearing has a nice fluffy white "brim" and puffy white ball at the tip.

To me, the problems with this outfit are abundant. The main things that stood out were...sequins are wrapped everywhere, the sweater has a faux undershirt, it doesn't resemble the holiday outfit it is supposed to be, and every element is a shade of pink. Bleck!
Even though it's all winterwonderland outside our house, I've decided to sew a first spring/summer outfit for my 3 year old. She already has enough winter clothes, but all her t-shirts and most of her shorts won't fit anymore this summer.
I must confess that there are no stripes in this outfit. I read the challenge in a "polka dots and/or stripes" kind of way. Well, I still wanted to show what I've made as I'm deeply in love with this whole outfit. It looks so charming when she wears all of it together, but take blue or white shorts a white blouse or a blue t-shirt and you have tons of outfits all in one! And they will all look really sweet...
So about the different: pieces: the tunic is from burda (www.burdastyle.com/pattern_store/patterns/52010-tunic-top...) and the shorts are peek-a-boos bubble shorts (www.peekaboopatternshop.com/product/bubble-shorts-3-mos-8...). I haven't made any changes to the patterns as these are both my very first tunic and my very first shorts. I'm very proud about the 8 buttons in the back of the tunic, since I've only once before made buttonholes and am still quite afraid of them. I put the hair band together using different pieces of the remaining fabric and think it really adds to the look.
Regarding the photo shoot: I hope you enjoy the pictures of our little indoors picnic as much as I do. Ronja really loved to have this picnic with her favorite stuffed animals Miezi (the cat) and Herr Nilson (the monkey - he got his name from Pippi Longstockings monkey...). Btw in some pictures you can see her undershirt peek through at the neck line - well she won't wear a undershirt in summer...

In his traditional dress, the gho, a one-piece pull-on garment. Men wear this when they're at work or on duty in some way; at home they can wear what they like. The only time traditional dress is compulsory is when visiting a dzong, or fortress. Then they also have to wear a long scarf or shawl, knotted in a particular way. The undershirt is always white.
Women's traditional outfits consist of a long wrap-around skirt, or kira, a blouse, wonju, and a short jacket or toego. Their blouse can be any colour.

It certainly proved effective when, a few months later in 2013, I placed it in an online personal ad ... and it led to meeting my future husband!
I like the semi-sheerness of the white dress shirt, which allows my black athletic undershirt to be visible through it.
I just got this in the mail from S2Fashions.com. I've ordered from them before, and I always like their work. It's a custom-fit silk shirt with embroidery. The shirt pictured on their website is sleeveless, but I asked them to put 3/4 sleeves on it. Here the sleeves are pushed up a bit on my arms.
The color is way darker than it appeared on their website, so luckily I like it anyway! The silk is very thin (I think I will wear an undershirt under it, perhaps), but quite nice and comfortable.
The close up details of the skin and the soft curve of the only clothing layer that I got with this skin, the undershirt and under pants.. But still, its the use of design and the human form is enhanced in a very natural way. I love the curves and the movement of the lines, and how they dip into the areas of the skin tattoo special images of shells.. (found on the back, breasts and bottom area as well as on the head and face)
