A series of colourful psychadelic 3-d photographic experiments exploring the external depth of the canvas as an alternative to the defacto aesthetic of the flat print. All images were created via a combination of free and commercial software [Ultrafractal, Fractint, Visions of Chaos etc]. To be used in Conjunction with "Chromadepth" 3-d glasses which produce a stereoscopic effect based upon differences in the diffraction of color through a special prism-like holographic film fitted into glasses. Chromadepth glasses give the illusion of colors taking up different positions in space, with red being in front, and blue being in back].

Created using Ultrafractal. In this particular world stars only appear behind the clouds.... Phoenix mandelbrot set.

At first, I thought this pattern was being interrupted by the disk with the single line.

Ultrafractal, spiral from Phoenix Mandelbrot set.

The colouring makes me think of the heathery, rocky and forested braes of Scotland. The textile detail underneath was only revealed on properly rendering the image on Ultrafractal.
