For this image series, the original size images are 16,000 X 12,000px. These were rendered with an iteration limit of 100,000 iterations to ensure that every single detail was correctly rendered. This particular image works well as a map of the Mandelbrot set, when viewed at its original size.

Due to the huge file sizes, this series of fractal images was very tedious to work on.

This fractal was created using a program called ultrafractal.

A series of colourful psychadelic 3-d photographic experiments exploring the external depth of the canvas as an alternative to the defacto aesthetic of the flat print. All images were created via a combination of free and commercial software [Ultrafractal, Fractint, Visions of Chaos etc]. To be used in Conjunction with "Chromadepth" 3-d glasses which produce a stereoscopic effect based upon differences in the diffraction of color through a special prism-like holographic film fitted into glasses. Chromadepth glasses give the illusion of colors taking up different positions in space, with red being in front, and blue being in back].

2 layers inadvertently superimposed - I quite like the result, however. Created using Ultrafractal. Mandelbrot.
