Tuned like the top 4 strings of a guitar (D-G-B-E). Nice mellow sound and easy to grab when you just want to noodle around.

the soundhole rosette is rosewood with Black-white-black plastic perfling strips.

This gentleman was with an organization that sends ukeleles to service men in the Middle East. The kids liked the music.
