So, yeah, nuts. But I splurged... I've been pretty happy about my flea for a few years now, and I always dreamed of getting a custom Kamaka, but the price tags on 'em are no joke. (The sweetest one I saw today was prolly in the range of the value of my truck, mebbe even the resale value of my fit.) But Larry at Larry's music convinced me to try out the Kamoa ukes (his son designs them). Before you knew it, there was a range of ukes on the counter, including a soprano and a concert size Kamoa. Larry was super kind about my total lack of knowledge, and I ended up getting the soprano. She's a beaut, with some nice large sound, and stunning wood. I can't believe I did it...

Thought it was funny how low she held her uke :)
