Alvin Stardust .... My coo ca Choo.
Coo! Coo! I just want you
I really love the things that you do
Come on ! Love-a-me too
Won't you be my coo ca choo
Sweetness - I like your dress
I love the way you know you're the best
I'm in love! an' I'm in a mess
I really want you coo ca choo
The guide said as I leaned out to take this a long way above the Octagon at the crossing of Ely Cathedral. You can just see people down there. We walked up 3 spiral stone staircases to reach this point. The guide explained the first stone tower collapsed so they rebuilt the top of the lantern tower in wood to be lighter. But the oak trees cut to support the tower are now 600 years old and the floor creaks a bit as you walk around up there. Fortunately they did some strengthening 200 years ago but then that wood is getting old too ... :)
One of the joys of exploration is coming across the unexpected.
(Discovered along a road across from the Bridport Railway trackbed)
This is the tile roof of the cottage where my aunt lives in the UK. It's the gardener's cottage for the manor that is there. It's a 'Mud and Stud' construction (similar to wattle and daub) and it practically oozes history and charm. It was built around the time that Shakespeare was hanging around the Globe Theatre.

Three years ago I published an image like this under the title Incubus. This was the text going with it:
"This is the tool, a pitchfork, that the man who wishes to be the British Prime Minister wants to use in order to drive out the "great incubus", namely the European Union. Words matter. "Incubus" is a term taken from religious language. It describes the Devil entering you sexually. When Mr Boris Johnson conjures up the scenario of the EU f...g the UK from behind and that he would "pitchfork" it off the back of the British people [BBC interview, 24/6/19] you know what you have to expect. You have been warned."
Today, Mr Johnson resigned from office. His incompetence and dishonesty caused great damage inside and outside of the UK. Those who supported him and swept him into power have to ask themselves how they are going to regain credibility.
Back in September i visited Pembrokeshire for the first time and was in awe at high photogenic this area is. Amazing part of the UK
Learning to fly ..... Tom Petty
Well I started out down a dirty road
Started out all alone
And the sun went down as I crossed the hill
And the town lit up, the world got still
I'm learning to fly, but I ain't got wings
Coming down is the hardest thing
Well the good ol' days may not return
And the rocks might melt and the sea may burn
I'm learning to fly, but I ain't got wings
Coming down is the hardest thing
Well some say life will beat you down
Break your heart, steal your crown
So I've started out, for God knows where
I guess I'll know when I get there
I'm learning to fly, around the clouds,
But what goes up must come down
I'm learning to fly, but I ain't got wings
Coming down is the hardest thing
