We took the family to the water and told them this is photo shoot day. We took anything we thought would be an interesting photo prop (boas, jackets, dresses, alternate changes of clothing). We tried to keep things interesting and tried a number of things as far as color, lighting, etc. Was alot of fun. Wish we had done it more than once.
This is my newly modded Canon Xsi. Does anyone else see these kinds of artifacts with this camera? This is a 9.5 minute exposure at ISO 1600 (of comet lulin). It was taken at a dark site at about 40F. I saw some amp glow and a dark band near the bottom with my old 20D, but nothing like this.
