While we are on the subject of word play, this is the Season for your Ugg Boots and fluffy Ear-Warmers to fight off the cold of winter. A small shop in Melbourne Central will have these things for sale. Retail is king in these shopping centres and there were plenty of customers in some shops. Particularly in the high end shops where promotions or other requirements mean customers queue outside the store and only a few people are let in at a time. With the FFM.

I found this doll a couple of years ago at a flea market. Finally gave her a Fashionista body. She noticed this outfit and we agree it would look great on her so I redressed her and made her these boots. I saw her on Andrea's stream and decided to give her some attention. She is such a pretty doll.
This is a photo of some of my sorority sisters. The three girls in the middle are wearing Uggs, my personal favorite fashion statement in the world. They are the most comfortable shoes ever and they keep your feet very warm. The ugg boot is a generic term for a style of boot, constructed of sheepskin, with the wool as the inner lining and a tanned outer surface. Ugg boots often have a synthetic sole, although this is not always the case. They evolved in Australia as a type of slipper for cold weather use and are also known as ugh boots and ug boots. In Australia, sheepskin boots have long been popular with people in rural occupations, who have ready access to the raw materials, such as sheep shearers. Their popularity increased as a result of World War I and World War II, when sheepskin boots were popular with aviators, because of their need to keep warm in exposed conditions at high altitudes. Ugg boots have also been popular with surfers and competitive swimmers since at least the 1960s, for keeping warm while out of the water. Nevertheless, in Australasia, bogans and members of related subcultures are generally the only people who wear them in public. Most other Australians only wear ugg boots around the house, or at the most, trips no further than the local corner shop, although recent fashion interest has given them more exposure. They became extremely popular in 2003 when the brand UGG Australia started marketing them. Since then they have been worn by many celebrities out shopping, going out to eat, and even on the red carpet. In 2005, fashion magazines said "bye, bye" to Uggs, however they are still going strong and I dont care if they go out of fashion or not, I will still be wearing them in the winter.

It comes with some early documents including V5, 1977 MoT when the mileage was recorded at 67,224, tax discs and invoices dating from 1977 and 1978. The history file also includes restoration photos, invoices dating between 2016 and 2018, handbook, various magazines and articles. Some spares are included in the sale. Current mileage recorded at 73,400."

my friend ann challenged me to get a portrait of me, gemma, the 2 dogs, and the remaining cat. being a smart ass, i thought i would set the whole thing up in front of the pond so the fish were "in the shot" as well.
ozzy, the maltese, was running around like crazy and would come give us kisses and run away.
macgyver, the schipperke, sat still like a good boy, but kept turning around to see if i was giving out the promised treats yet.
judy, the cat, is hiding under the couch inside the house as far away from all of us as possible.
i was restraining gemma because she just wanted to bang on macgyver.
the fish on the other hand cooperated beautifully.
this is the best we got.
