Then again, the Trumpton fire brigade never did attend a real fire, did they ? So it must be another crew !
I have been hard at work continuing to scan slides from Peter Roberts's archives - in fact, I have recently passed the 4000 mark, and I have now scanned more of his slides than I have of my own ! I am having a short pause now, to take stock and sort out some queries, but I thought I would share a few that have come out of the woodwork that aren't your usual bus and coach fayre ....
Peter and a few friends were driving over to north Wales for a day out, and I think he said they were making for Tom Hollis at Queensferry as their first stop, when they came across this wagon on its way east into Cheshire, which had somehow set itself on fire. So as they were all armed with their cameras, they stopped for a few pictures - but why did none of them think of taking any selfies ? 'Cos this was the 1960s, and the world was a better place ....
More excitement to follow !
No mobile phones in those days, so you either ran to the nearest phone box or house, and called for help - or you stood and watched ....
Nice number plate on the left as well - an early example of a cherished plate, when they weren't all the rage, and N 78 is still live today somewhere.

这个版本是参照af3.0制作的理想化的流程。拿出来祭奠一下。
The Spider Crab is the latest is deep sea exploration drones. Unlike the exploration robots of the early twentieth century, this drone does not need cables to supply power and live video feeds. Instead it relies on state-of-the-art fuel cells and wireless video transmission. The drone can dive to depths much deeper than any robot before it. They use two large thrusters to dive and surface but it also has small ballast tanks to move around ship wrecks without disturbing the artifacts. The four legs have padded feet to reduce damage to artifacts and cushion impact with the sea floor. It is also equipped with two grasping claws for bringing up artifacts.
