This beautiful festive round of Uber, I am so excited to present to you to a new collection the Everlasting Light to celebrate Hannukah and Christmas that this year are at the same time Christmas Day and first candle of Hannukah.

May these holidays will bring all everywhere the mark for better, calmer peaceful times ahead.

The Everlasting Light collection is a porcelain in traditional blue and white drawings and is available in both PBR and Legacy textures. It includes the following:

With my mate and fellow mountaineering enthusiast Bruce unable to go due to urgent circumstances I was left in a quandary; flights to New Zealand and itching to go mountaineering but with no one to go with. The thought of a solo trip crossed my mind but if I were to do this it would severely limit my options.

Bruce kindly donated his flights to the first taker. So the call went out to the likely candidates as well as the not so likely candidates. To my surprise Rod was green lighted and without further delays the planning was underway.

For someone who had never held and ice axe or felt crampons underfoot, who had never built an ice cave or peered into a crevasse this was a big undertaking. But Rod is neither a quitter nor a complainer. The sort of guy you want on a trip like this, who will go till he drops...which fortunately didn't happen, into a crevasse or otherwise.

With little time to prepare we quickly sorted gear and ran through some theory and roping exercises. The next thing we know we were off on the trip of a lifetime.

So here he is, my Bro, sponsored by Macpac, uber-hardman, trying to look fierce but not quite pulling it off ;) and fellow summiteer.
