Diese Aufnahme habe ich fast ein halbes Jahr lang geplant. Nachdem ich sehr viel Zeit auf Google Maps & Co verbracht habe, war es dann im Juli soweit, und ich habe das günstige Wetter für die Tour genutzt.
Für dieses Bild bin ich 2,5h angereist, ca. 3h aufgestiegen, und habe die ganze Nacht am Berg verbracht. Am Nächsten Tag ging es wieder nach Hause, und dort habe ich nochmal etwa 1h Zeit mit der Bearbeitung verbracht.
Ich denke es hat sich gelohnt.

I have planned this image for almost half a year. After spending a lot of time on Google Maps & Co, it was done in July and I used the favorable weather for the trip.
For this picture, I have to getting drive 2.5 hours, went up about 3 hours, and spent the whole night on the mountain. The next day I went back home, and there I spent about 1 hour again with the processing.
I think it was worth it.

Das Nikolsburger Schloss thront weithin sichtbar über der flachwelligen Landschaft. Gesteigert wird diese Ansicht noch durch den dahinter liegenden Bergrücken des Tanzbergs mit seiner Steppenvegetation und den weiß leuchtenden Kalksteinfelsen. Der Name des Berges rührte daher, dass sich hier bis in das 17. Jahrhundert hinein die Menschen der Gegend trafen um in den Mai zu Tanzen. Den auf dem Schloss residierenden streng katholischen Herren zu Dietrichstein dürften diese heidnischen Bräuche stets missfallen haben, weshalb sie 1623 die Umgestaltung des Berges veranlassten. Da zuvor eine Pestseuche ünerwunden worden war, weihte man die neu auf dem Berg aufgebaute Kirche dem Heiligen Sebastian, welcher Schutzpatron gegen die schwarzen Pest war. Zusätzlich entstand ein Kreuzweg mit mehreren Stationen und Kapellen am Aufstieg von der Stadt zur St. Sebastian-Kirche. Der Berg erhielt in der Folge den Namen Heiliger Berg / Svatý kopeček.
