Sassette: PERFECT!
Slouchy: What's perfect?
Sassette: Bikes! Two of them. One for me, one for you!.
Slouchy: I don't ride bikes.
Sassette: Silly you! Of course you don't since you don't HAVE a bike!.
Slouchy: I don't like the color.
Sassette: That's probably why they are on sale. Can't you just see yourself riding down the street on a bike, your hair blowing in the wind?
Slouchy: YOUR hair blowing in the wind.
Sassette: "Slouchy! Just think how much fun it would be!"
Slouchy: I don't think so, Sassette. Maybe ask Snappy. He'll do anything dangerous.
Sassette: Great idea. Snappy'll want a bike. Only one problem.
Slouchy: What?
Sassette: I don't have any money.
Slouchy: Well that makes two of us.
I lined the box with the sheet music for "The 12 Days of Christmas." And because I a ma stickler for details, I made sure the verse for the 2nd Day of Christmas is showing. :-)

Birds and flowers Hero Arts (Two Birds) CG152
Background was inked with Antique Linen Distress ink, then sponged with same ink. Vintage Photo distress ink around edges. Flowers stamped in Peeled Paint distress ink direct to paper. Then stamped again on scrap card in Fired Brick ink,cut out and paper pieced to first image.
Birds and flowers coloured with aquabrush and distress inks.
Inks used for birds...tattered rose,victorian velvet and fired brick.

It is amazing that they actually sleep this way, suspeced by arms and legs, seemingly without a care in the world. Seen in the rain forest in Tortuguero Nat'l Park, CR
Driving home I noticed the cloud formation and thought it might be a pretty sky at sunset. I tried to find a nice spot to catch the colors. This is in Sayville, NY on Long Island.

This tall yellow-orange wildflower often appears with two identical side-by-side flower heads. I find it along edges of woods where it can receive partial sun during the day.

Two-spotted treehoppers (Enchenopa spp.) are made up of several species in which most have not yet been described. Western Regional Park, Howard County, Maryland.
The 'Cathedrals Explorer' tour of Britain, starting on 18 My 2012 and covering eight days, leaves London Victoria behind A1 pacific no. 60163 'Tornado' and banked by BR pacific no. 70000 'Britannia'. Most steam departures from Victoria are banked up the 1 in 62 incline to Grosvenor Bridge, but this is almost always by a diesel locomotive. On this occasion, though, 'Britannia' had brought the train into the station from Staines, via Redhill and Tonbridge. The plume of exhaust from 'Britannia" rises in the background. Lila Mae& Baby .. Lila Mae was a Maine Coon that had been locked in a garage for seven years and rescued. Baby was my little Persian. I got him when he was 2 months old..I had Baby boy for 17yrs. He was my best friend and I also called him my little 'Grandpa Face '...I miss him everyday, as I do Sweet Lila Mae, whom I had for 4 years.
I know that they are both in a wonderful place cat napping and playing with all the other sweeties that crossed the Rainbow Bridge.
Guess they're on my mind as I'm moving and this is the place where they both lived with me .
I often play a card game called Thirteen, in which the two of hearts is the most powerful card. This shot doesn't do it justice.
I'm debating the cropping on this one. I'm wondering if I should include the gloved hand...
The shot wasn't posed, but I couldn't ask for better exposure of the words on the pencil. The composition makes me think of the value of integrity being number two on the list of anything and being playfully chewed upon seems thought provoking to me and has an artistic feel.
Conductor Harrington takes the lead in spotting cement empties to the Milwaukee transload. The Menomonee Belt job typically spots the transload a couple times a week after it completes work on the branch; they're typically over here around lunchtime.
While hiking in the woods, I saw in the woods these two red deer!

In Central Europe is the red deer one of the largest free-living wild animals. He almost lives in forest habitats.

Our Daily Challenge: double
Apologies for being well behind with my comments etc but the last couple of days have been somewhat overtaken by the illness of my brother-in-law! He is very poorly and well what can I say - we pray and live in hope!!
My wife and her sister remain at the hospital and as I've just recently returned home I'm taking my mind off of things by jumping into my archives as I haven't had my camera in my hand over the last couple of days!!
This one is from November when I had dropped my wife and daughter off at a shopping mall and Simon and I continued on a photo shoot. We ended up in a small town called Parrish which apart from these two trains could easily have been the location for that great movie Deliverance!! We didn't stay too long!!
