These two are both Giggles by Ideal,but the one with a haircut makes a great boy. Giggles was made from 1967 to 1969. When her arms are pulled out to the sides, and then moved inward,there is a shaking in her body, a giggling sound,and her head tilts to one side while her eyes roll the opposite direction. Sometimes they roll the wrong way and she ends up cross eyed!
These two lads let on they built this place. Their mom disagreed.
Today we drove to Island View Beach to check out Island View Beach Regional Park.
We had planned on attending the scheduled event for tomorrow but due to a previous commitment, that won't happen.

The main panel, this time without human for scale. This is a 3 exposure enfuse HDR image, but that can't make up for the shadow running across the middle and everything in direct sunlight being blasted out. I need to go back sometime, preferably on a cloudy day, or at a time of day when everything is in the shade.
A plaque honoring two Army firefighters that died while on duty in 1924 and a live room fire demonstration highlighted the Open House celebrating the Presidio of Monterey Fire Department’s 100th Birthday on Oct. 28. Department retirees and former firefighters began the day with breakfast and the event ran until 3 PM featuring lunch, displays from Pacific Gas and Electric and the Fort Ord Reuse Authority, and a bouncy house.
The Battle of Britain 75th Anniversary flight.
34 Spitfires and Hurricanes took off from Goodwood in the space of about 20 minutes, from 1400. Arranged in groups of three or four planes, they flew to various destinations in the South of England, visiting many towns and sites of significance in the Battle on the way. Three Spitfires headed north-east to fly to Bentwaters (Suffolk). They are seen here passing over the former RAF Martlesham Heath airfield at 15.08.

Two-time Olympic medallist Sushil Kumar has extended a helping hand to boxing legend Dingko Singh in his fight against liver cancer. Kumar along with several other individuals have come forward to help the former boxer financially. Dingko is suffering from lung cancer for which he had first been successfully treated three years ago.

"You lie through your teeth. You won't let me down, you lie, I deserve better than this," Silverstein. I hate homework. I hate working with a passion, especially math. AP Chemistry = Math, and I do not understand any of this new homework we were given, ugh. Probably my fault, I should have payed more attention in class, but I did thank good notes. :/ Hmmm ahh well. We'll see how it goes tomorrow, thank goodness there is no quiz this week, nor is there a test!

On November 9, 2022, the Office of Science hosted the first of a two-part lecture series featuring the 2022 Distinguished Scientist Fellows. Dr. Sheng Dai of Oak Ridge National Laboratory was honored for pioneering advances in development of functional materials for separation science, energy storage, catalysis, and other energy-related applications; and for excellence in leading team science and mentoring the next generation of researchers. The award was presented by Office of Science Director Dr. Asmeret Asefaw Berhe, and Office of Science Deputy for Science Programs Dr. Harriet Kung. Proceedings included an award ceremony, technical talk covering the Fellow’s science and career, and a Q&A session. For additional information, visit:
