I've seen a fair few of these and thought I'd try my hand at one. First attempt and it's a little 'brown' for my tastes.
Great fun and really easy to do. Big thanks to everyone making lockdown videos of how to do these type of effects.

I don't remember exactly what I did with the twirl to get this design but I liked it and even made a little video with it... Course Blue just happens to be my favorite color... :-)
Following Judi May's gorgeous Twirl shot I looked up how to do this and came up with this one for Sliders Sunday. You can just see the faint outline of the dark treeline at the bottom! I believe Judi was introduced to this by Charlotte. Flickr is such a good place to learn

I performed the twirl effect using my Independencia Homes hillside photo from my November vacation to Monterrey Mexico.

I made a Twirl in Photoshop for this challenge. It's been ages since I made one of these!
My head's in a spin!
I actually created this from an industrial landscape shot, sometimes the urge to play gets the better of me, I can't help it, it's my inner child getting out.
i went out last evening to catch the sunset at my favorite place and decided to twirl barefoot in the open field. i was the only one there until the Haskell park ranger showed up to make sure i was 'okay'. i don't think it's a common practice:) he came just after i took this shot and i had to shoo him away before the sun went behind the trees. i don't think he liked it one bit.
