Campers interact with Baba Gurdev Singh, chief (ਮੁਖੀ) of Shaheedi Bagh. He charmed the youngsters with stories of eighteenth century Sikhs emphasizing the need to honour our heroes by excelling at everything we do.
Baba Swarnjit Singh conducted a successful leadership camp for children of Doaba region. Lectures in history were augmented by spreading awareness of our flora, fauna, ecology and sanitation. It was stressed that if we excel at studies and sports, keep our surroundings clean and conserve our resources we can individually make this world a better place.
