El tema del amor siempre es una gran fuente de inspiración. Aunque debo de advertir que este no es mi caso. Vi unas cuantas fotos con "miniaturas" y estoy muy entusiasmada con seguir practicando para que me salga bien.

I was walking downtown with my friend James when my attention got caught by the reflection of the clouds on this building's windows. And the lines were doing nothing but making the overall image better. So i stopped, composed and shot.
And then i said "Now, this requires a lot of photoshop but will turn out great!"
That sentence lead me and James into a conversation about wether it's good or not to use photoshop, and if you can still call it "photography" when taking pictures alone it's almost not enough anymore.
I argued that a camera can't now and will never be able to reproduce what our eyes can see and what our brain can process when perceiving what's around us. And that therefore photoshop it's just the tool that enables us to get closer to that particular result.
From James's point of view, the beauty of photography resides exactly int he fact that it cannot totally reproduce what our eyes perceive, and in this has its own pros and cons of course.
Now, obviously that kind of discussion just made me want to work on it even more and after a few tries, this image came to life.
An image that i REALLY like, and that delivers a lot to me but... can you still call it photography?
Maybe, we should create a new, precise word : Photoshopgraphy.

I can finally reveal you the latest great news!
I got hired by a producer here in Hokkaido to play drums in one of his band's promotional videos!
The band is called "Outer" and the song is "Bullshit! Hard problem!!" and we've been playing non-stop for something like 8 hours to record the video. It's gonna be on youtube pretty soon so you'll gonna hear about it soon enough, don't worry!
At the end of the shooting i asked them if i could take my Facedown tuesday picture there and they agreed, but i didn't really expect them all to partecipate in it!
It was such a great day, and this photo is just the cherry on top of it!

Finally is Friday! I have hated this week, not me and managed to organize and could not make daily sessions. Hate the routine. Today I went to the shopping centre of Madrid, this photo is very typical, but I love it. Wait me a long weekend doing work, I hate it.
