164/365 Only your.
At the end you are yourself suffering every night by an unrequited love. You are owner of your life, only responsible for your actions, winner of the victories that you propose and loser (or apprentice) defeats. You who makes the decisions, you are the owner of your life.
-
Solo tu.

194 / 365 : A-Symmetrical
I'm starting to get why someone once described japan as the "Street Photographer's Heaven".
Lately i've been questioning myself pretty often regards that matter and at one point i thought the answer was : " Symmetry "
But it's not, actually is the opposite : was makes (at least, in my opinion) shooting street photos so easy and satisfying here in Japan is the Asymmetry in Symmetry.
Small small details characterize different parts or areas in the city that would be otherwise completely identical. Like in this case, the yellow line (it's for blind people to understand where they are going and when to stop depending on the texture of the surface, i just discovered it!).
Maybe i'm overthinking the whole thing, and i should just say that i like street photography but judging from this image, that's what i thought.

197 / 365 : 大雨
Rain Rain Rain Rain and again Rain....
Couldn't think of a different shot for such a day...
Been busy since the very first morning, double "shift" and they just confirmed me i work tomorrow morning at 9.00 ... Argh!
Whoever decided that weddings were to be held on Sundays surely forgot the importance of the weekend :)
Anyhow, i've been really not happy with my stream lately and especially with my "flickr" behaviour including not finding the time to comment on your photos, my good 365project friends...
Will be back on track, hopefully, from monday!

129/365 White.
And this is how they were the streets today. Full of snow. I love the snow, I love when nobody even to be stepped on, I love your pure white. I also love the gloves, hats and even if sometimes detests them, the cold in your hands. I encanutaría to live in Canada, where the snow was the most normal of the world. Snowy days were made to contemplate the beautiful white covering the entire city.

Wedding again, yeeey!
Long and tiring day.
Got back home one hour ago, stepped out of my suit, jumped right into my pajama and...
OH NO! I forgot to shoot some details at the wedding for my daily photograph!
Damn, let's see if i can find something...
And there you go, a random shot taken when i was looking for the correct exposure for the initial toast...
Pretty bad huh!?

Happy Face Down Tuesday!!!
First of all, NO, i'm not licking the floor, and my mouth is not even touching it, it's just a perspective effect with the help of the shadow of my chin that makes it look like i'm feeding on the floor :)
I had this shot in mind for a while now and i was waiting for the right moment to pull it out.
Figured out the right moment was today, 200th day of this project, a big big MAJOR milestone for me.
Actually not just 2 times bigger than the 100th day, but many many times more epic.
Why?
Well, except for breathing, drinking, eating and all the basic vital functions, i think i've never done anything else for 200 days straight without interruption. I mean, i never dated a girl for 200 days straight. I never went to school for more than 200 days in a year ( that's exactly the amount of school days in a given year!). I've never practiced a sport for 200 days. I've never played an instrument everyday for 200 days.
See?
It's basically the first time i do something for 200 days straight. And i think it's a great milestone not only for my project, but for my life too. I'm very proud of this moment!
And for the occasion, i wanted to try a long exposure in this very very crowded new underground boulevard here in Sapporo, finally showing Sapporo's people that they have a Faced-Down-Tuesdayer™ among them (i'll never say planker!)
But i stumbled on some problems, with a slower shutter speed you couldn't actually see the blurry movement of people on the background, and with a faster one, i could just get almost still figures.
Especially, people started avoiding the path of the camera, rendering everything more difficult.
But it was funny, try after try, to see people laughing, taking photos at me, pointing fingers ecc ecc.
In the end, HAPPY 200th day to all of my 365project companions!
LEt's get it going guys!

Happy Face Down Tuesday!!!!
Today i was seriously excited about having finally the whole free afternoon to find location for my FDTs. Scouted here in there around town and then decided to go in Maruyama Park (which is more like a forest actually), next to Sapporo's Zoo to see what could come out there.
As always, forgot some little details: like for example that if you go in June, in a forest, where there's a creek passing by... you'll have to face THEM.
Yes, bugs. EVERYWHERE. E-V-E-R-Y-W-H-E-R-E.
They probably sensed me from far away because literally, as soon as i stepped into the park i got greed by swarms and swarms of hungry bugs.
Such a pain to check for exposition, position, geometry of the shot when all you can hear is "bzzzzz" and all you can see is little tiny winged blood-sucking demons on your fisheye lens. (yes, in some shots they were even on my lens.)
Unbelievable. And they were big! The European ones in comparison are like sand grains to pebbles.
But hey, when we hold the Face Down Tuesday's sword, we're ready to face anything in order to achieve THE shot.
Amen!
Ps: One of my FDT photos got chosen for Flickr's Official Blog about planking. Hurray!
