You can also see Malakpet Metro Station at the end of the video.

TL;DR = The MGBS is going to be a interchange station, one of the three stations where passengers of Hyderabad Metro can change lines. In this station Line-1 (left, lower)-Line-2 (right, upper) interchange would be possible. Work for Line-1 part will be done first as part of Stage-V (LB Nagar-Ameerpet/SR Nagar).

Line 1 (Corridor I) : Miyapur – LB Nagar : 29 kms; 27 stations,

Line 2 (Corridor II) : JBS – Falaknuma : 15 kms; 16 stations

More about the station and the HMR - Hyderabad Metro Rail project

---------------------------------------------

The Hyderabad Metro Rail Phase-I project of over 71 km has reached the final stages (at-least for 2 lines) and countdown has started for the start of commercial operations - ~29-30 km route is going to open this year (Nov-end) in the inauguration of the metro system for which Prime Minister Narendra Modi, has been invited by the Telangana state government.

This station is an interchange beside Mahatma Gandhi Bus Station, one of the two major inter-city bus terminals serving Hyderabad metropolitan region. The station is on Imlibun (Imliban) island surrounded by Musi River on three sides. The Line-1's station is preceded by Sultan Bazar Metro Station at Jambagh (Putlibowli cross roads) coming from Nampally and MJ Market (Mojjamjahi Market) side and it is succeeded by Malakpet station going towards LB Nagar, Dilsukhnagar. You can also see Malakpet Metro Station distant view at the end of the video. The Line-2's station is preceded by Osmania Medical College Metro Station (Koti) and succeeded by Salarjung Museum Metro Station although construction has not started for that part of Line-2 from this interchange to Falaknuma and there is a chance of this ~5-6 km stretch getting scrapped as there is realignment and land acquisition problem and no work has been done for stretch even after 5-8 years of inception. The realigned route would be longer than original route through Darulshifa and Etebar Chowk and this would be through Zoo Park, although even this realigned route was pretty much put aside in favour of the original. I seriously hope that work from this station to Falaknuma in the original route be started as well as it will benefit a lot of passengers, shoppers, tourists and of course the Old City residents. The Old City has lot of heritage sites as well including the symbol of Hyderabad - Charminar, Mecca Masjid, Chowmahalla Palace, Charkaman and a lot of other visitor attractions sites of religious and historical importance. It also is a shoppers paradise with many markets. So, it is crucial that this 5-6 km stretch goes through as well and work is started soon on it. An intersting fact about Line 2 is that it directly connects the two major inter-city bus terminals / stations of the city ,i.e., MGBS (Mahatma Gandhi Bus Station) is directly linked with Jubilee Bus Station (JBS) without any interchange needed.

The MGBS Interchange will be for Line-1 station at a lower level and Line-2 station at a higher level. Before approaching this station the Line-2 and Line-1 will run parallel for a short distance from Putlibowli x roads to Rangmahal cross roads (You can see that here - youtu.be/WEWDTIbcZKQ) and Line-2 will go double - elevated to jump over Line-1 viaduct. I think this is only the second time in the entire Phase-I that a metro Line-1 will go over another metro Line viaduct - other one is at Parade Grounds Interchange (youtu.be/qhQdOB4dwCM, youtu.be/YlGDAj8VUeM).
