Yok öyle umutları yitirip karanlıkta savrulmak. Unutma ; aynı gökyüzü altında, bir direniştir yaşamak.

QUARANTINE ART CLUB

PINTEREST INSPIRED

This is an acrylic painting in my sketchbook. It was inspired by #Nelio x #Tekar. They are graffiti artists. I love their styles individually and together. The shapes the colors are exactly my jam. This will be a larger painting someday in the near future. This style is not new to me, but this time the inspirational credits go the the artists from above. *If this is a sign what does it tell you? What do you think?

There are a number of people on this site who I look up to as I learn this art. As I find the time and get up the nerve, I occasionally post images to thank those who have made such a profound impact on how I see the world.

In the area of abstracts, "Lisa G in NYC" and Bas Lammers are my standard-bearers, among many others.

In landscapes, M Fotografie (Marius Erasmus) and Simon Baker are two of my captains, again among others.

Most of you know who you are, because I've told you either publicly or privately, or in my galleries.

Now, though, I am trying texturing for the first time. This is a reprise of an earlier favorite photo of mine, with a mix of the texture "Classic Green" by Skeletalmess.

Anna (Schwensen), my dear Flickr friend, this is for you. Enjoy!

এমন দেশটি কোথাও খুজে পাবে নাকো তুমি,

সকল দেশের রানী সে যে, আমার জন্মভূমি;

সে যে আমার/আমাদের/সকলের প্রানের বাংলাদেশ।।

Took a short walk around the neighborhood and these two leaves caught my eye. I found it striking that one was so vibrant red and the other still green. I've obviously played with the original, but I hope the effect is pleasing.

Every year we go to the fireworks show at the Genesee Country Village & Museum in Mumford, NY. This event is special to us because we have been going since their first event, and it marks the Labor Day weekend of our wedding anniversary, this year being our 4th. This is by far one of the best fireworks displays I have ever seen.

this beautiful mini doll by Ascreations.

I was looking through my archives and found this scene, which was from an Urbex outing last year. I liked the blue through the doorway, but desaturated everything else. I've photoshopped this to accentuate the cracking paint and add some darker shadows. Not completely sure it was what I was envisioning from the start, but I kind of like it.
