I went with my grandson to the beach for a walk. But the walk was short due to the fact that he ran into the water where in his shoes and trouser became wet until his knees. The wind was heavy and there was foam at the water. The sky was magnificent and the reflections were that too. Bloemendaal, 2021.

This is the one place if you get the tide times wrong you will have to wait or wade back across to the mainland, this is what I had to do, it was only a case of rolling up the trouser legs and going for it, and was only knee height at the time of crossing....

I went back to my earliest digital photos. In 2005, I got my first digital point-and-shoot, a Canon Ixus 50 with a whopping 5 megapixels. I bought it specifically for the vacation this image is one of the first ones from. I used it until 2013 as it was so convenient to put it into my trouser pockets. Unluckily, it slipped from my pocket in that year on another vacation, never to be found again.
Seeing those images on a full HD screen with 1920 x 1080 pixels, they are fine. You just shouldn't zoom in more.
A few of my Flickr friends should recognize this place. If you do, please post in the comments, where exactly I was because I can't remember the locations anymore after all this years.

Some say I don't smile enough in photographs, though because of lockdown I haven't had the chance to get my haircut yet. Though I have just started going fishing again.
The Toothy Green Eel loves the Krill. Especially the 16mm boilie size. One of the rarest British fish. Only two anglers have ever seen them. Me and the cameraman. Other anglers though have felt their presence in the past. That's why you have to wear bicycle clips when fishing for them. Known for slipping up your left trouser leg, and hanging off your 'Tinky Winky'........Beware they have sharp teeth, and give love bites.
