With all the recent stormy weather my mind cast back to our visit to the South Gare at Redcar, in January. I've been unable to get out with my camera because of trips to visit our Granddaughter, Mollie, in hospital. She is improving and hopefully will be going home some time soon. We have seen some slight movement in her right arm and leg - not much but a start and a glimmer of hope for her future. Thanks to all for the kind wishes for our special girl, your support has been touching and is much appreciated.
trouble... feels like every time I get back on my feet trouble come around and knock me down again....
As I was working on this photo of the Chilean flag near the La Moneda palace (taken May 2017), I got to thinking about the unrest in so many countries including Chile... unrest and protests over important issues such as inequality, greed, arrogance, classista type thinking, access to a good education and to decent medical care for all levels of society.
Essentially it's a war between the haves and the have nots. So I decided to take some artistic license with this image and try to create something that represents this strife and struggle.

While not the most powerful storm we saw, the fact that we watched this storm form almost directly overhead right at sunset was pretty amazing.

Parce que ma vie est emplie de zones de trouble ces temps-ci. Dans toutes les sphères. Mon coeur de maman est emplit de souffrance. Nounours n'est plus mon amoureux. Le travail m'amène de mauvaises surprises.
