Millennium Mills is a derelict former flour mill on Royal Victoria Dock, built 1933 in an art deco style, and partly rebuilt following bomb damage in World War 2. There are plans to redevelop it into a flexible workspace.
Humanized, you could think exactly that - perhaps Madame was angry because the gentleman didn't bring her any fish on that day or maybe he just forgot to remove his stubble from the sink. ;-)))
In any case, a very lively conversation followed... but maybe just about the nice weather ;-)))

Have a nice (troubleless) evening!
They hang around the Hummingbird feeders and get in the way. This Ruby throat is having a "coming back to Jesus" discussion with one.
I really should be saying goodnight
I really shouldn't stay anymore
It's been so long since I held you
I've forgotten what love is for
I should run on the double
I think I'm in trouble..
---Lindsey Buckingham (It's Hellen Stellar's version that I love though)
This was probably instant of the point of no return in the accident sequence...You can clearly see the horse struggling to regain an upright position...
For Sliders Sunday (processed to the max).
HSS Everybody!
The forest and a specially built squirrel box, were not enough to entice this little squirrel away from our out buildings. She chewed her way into our water shed, (Before we had the time to log the outer-walls) and then gave birth! Once she spotted us watching her - she relocated her tiny family to the squirrel box - where she should have been in the first place.
Northbound Amtrak 20 heads through Long Bridge Park with an eclectic mix of power, necessitated by the lead Siemens Charger dying in Alabama. NS plucked a C6M out of its lineup to lead the train, which was several hours late by the time it reached the north end of diesel territory at Washington.
small-checkered thinking is bad,
large-checkered seeing is -

Actually I became aware of it through -Macros on Monday. I don't post in the group because I don't have a real macro lens and the rules are very strict there. But I always find the topics quite good and I like to admire the results. "Checkered" - that's when I remembered, that there was something suitable flow around in my archive.
Cheers to photo shop ;-)

This ant obviously didn't agree with the ringlet butterfly choosing this spot as a sleeping place. So he simply chased it away from there.

A Tricolored Heron surveys the ground from atop a snag, ready to find shelter from the coming weather.
I woke up this morning and had an idea of a picture in my head. Then I sat down at the computer with a cup of coffee and tried to put the picture in my head on the monitor. For this I needed two stock photos and patience, because I know anything but good with Photoshop. In the end it worked out more badly than right, but I don't want to deny you the result. . .

it's a crisp and beautiful winter morning and CP 6307 is in the lead of a re-crewed H17 on the approach to Bolton where they're scheduled to meet 119. Already reporting a non-functioning air compressor in the lead unit, they've just tripped the detector at mile 25 with a hot wheel and would end up spending the next hour sorting out the issues in the Bolton siding with the help of a road foreman. It didn't appear they'd move again after this as there was multiple mentions of it not being safe to move without new power being added, but sure enough they made it out of Bolton and got as far as mile 2.2 of the North Toronto where more unknown issues plagued the crew and an eventual decision was made to bring the H19 crew from Toronto Yard out to rescue the train. As I've said in the past, never a dull moment.
Featuring Big Spike & Trouble..Trouble crossed Rainbow Bridge last year and this picture was done the year before but have re-loaded as a tribute to a really great cat...
