Midland welcomed home 25 true modern day heroes on Wednesday.
The men and women arrived in Midland on Wednesday and were escorted by law enforcement to the Midland Hilton.
They will be honored at a dinner Wednesday night, followed by a concert at the Midland Center featuring country singer Daryl Worley.
That concert is open to the public.
The soldiers will be escorted tomorrow (11-15) for a West Texas deer hunt as a way to welcome them home, and allow them to enjoy all that they have served to protect.
After easily subduing the operators in the generator control room, the Cobra troops set a time bomb with enough explosive force to decimate the room, thus shutting off power to the base.
Cobra Officer: Alright, we have about 10 minutes! Let's get the heck out of here!

The Gothic Line, also known as the Green Line, was the last major German line of defense in Italy and witnessed conflicts in areas such as Anzio and Monte Cassino. Though Gebirgsjäger (mountain troops) weren't as active as they were in the Balkans and the Gustav Line, they did see action in the region.

further research has found that olive green would have been more accurate for troops stationed in Central China, which is where the bulk of my scenes with these guys will be in, but I think the blue uniforms are more interesting... and also I had already bought the fig parts by that point
My small collection of troops from the 26th "Yankee" Division. Most of my photos of these guys sucked (like reallllyyyyy sucked). So I thought they needed a better image, boy does some good lighting do the trick! Also, they look nice w/o weapons don't they? Decals by Milans "Brick Battalion".

The All Souls Day at Rakowicki Cemetery in Kraków. People lighting candles at the memorial to the soldiers of Krakow Army, fallen defending their homeland in 1939.
Kraków Army (Polish: Armia Kraków) was one of the Polish armies to take part in the Polish Defensive War of 1939. The Army was commanded by general Antoni Szylling and it consisted of five infantry divisions, one mountain brigade, one motorized cavalry brigade, and one cavalry brigade.
Both the fighter squadrons (121st and 122nd Escadrille) from Kraków were not able to provide any air cover for their army, because they were ordered to move to Dęblin to join the Pursuit Brigade defending Warsaw.
The main task of Kraków Army was to delay advancing German troops and withdraw eastwards along the northern line of the Carpathians and defend the heavily industrialized Upper Silesia region, together with western counties of Lesser Poland and the Carpathian foothills. Altogether, Kraków Army defended southwestern border of Poland.
However, its forces were not enough to halt German advance, especially in the area north of Częstochowa, where Kraków Army connected with Łódź Army. Main thrust of Wehrmacht panzer units was directed there, and this area was defended only by the Polish 7th Infantry Division, which was destroyed in the early days of September 1939, opening the way towards central Poland.
As the German push penetrated Polish defences, Kraków Army was forced to retreat to avoid the danger of encirclement. It tried to organize lines of defense on the rivers of Nida, Dunajec and later, San. Later in the course of war it joined the Karpaty Army, forming the Małopolska Army. Together they fought at the first battle of Tomaszów Lubelski (September 17-20), capitulating afterwards.

After we got in the canyon I decided to take roll call. We had 4 troops total, half of them being myself and Sharp. The other two troopers were CT-3052 'Blast', and CT-2957 'Nix'. Blast had a knack for explosions, and Nix got his name because he had a hard time getting direct hits. Blast's best friend was CT-3026 'Cam', who had just been killed. He didn't seem too keen to talk about it. We trudged on through the canyon, occasionally having to shoot a Geonosian out of the sky. Good thing they're easy to kill...

I promised Major Bonacelli that I would give the Italians another chance at proving their worth (after embarrassing them here) So here's a preview of my updated Italian soldiers!
The decals were made by me (although as usual they were based off of similar already existing designs), and the Breda 30 and Beretta 38 mods are based on Major Bonacelli's.

Ambrosia and I went to the "Salute the Troops" event in downtown Raleigh this weekend. Drake had a good ol' time watching all the marching bands and motorcycles go by.
