DB66. It was a hard winter in 1962, which was also to be the last year of London trolleybuses. This picture was taken in Edgware, but the snow on the destination blind is obscuring the route. Perhaps someone can tell me which it is?

Evening twilight event at the Sandtoft Trolleybus Museum near to Scunthorpe in the UK earlier in November 2025. The one day a year when the place stays open late so that the buses can be seen lit up as they travel around the museum circuit of overhead wires.

Verkehrsbetriebe Zürich (VBZ): the double articulated trolleybus number 86 (Hess BGGT-N2D lighTram / Longo 2, with electrical equipment from Kiepe) working a service in the city line 31.
It is part of a series of 14 trolleybuses put into service between 2012 and 2014 (numbers 78-91).
Huddersfield Corporation Roe bodied Sunbeam MS2 trolleybus Reg No ECX 177 Fleet No 577 heads down the A62 Manchester Road towards Longroyd Bridge on the cross town 60 service from Crosland Hill to Birkby on Tuesday the 4th of February 1964.
The route closed to trolleybuses the following day on Wednesday the 5th of February 1964.
Just under the railway bridge, at the fork in the road, is where the Crossland Hill and Marsden routes diverged, with the Marsden route abandoned the year before on the 31st of January 1963.
New in February 1949 ECX 177 was rebodied by C.H.Roe in April 1959 and was withdrawn in February 1965 after which time it was sold on to Evans Breakers of Worsborough Dale where it was broken up and scrapped.

Très mauvaise nouvelle, c'est peut-être la fin des trolleybus de Coimbra et du Portugal, car elle était la dernière ville avec un réseau de trolleybus.
En effet, les deux sous-stations encore en activité ne sont plus conformes, elle doivent être modernisées, pour ce faire, la municipalité doit investir deux millions d'Euros.
"Pour moi, deux millions d'Euros, c'est pas exorbitant, même pas le prix de trois bus articulés".
A ce jour, aucune décision n'est encore prise pour l'investissement de cette somme, afin de maintenir les trolleybus en activités, mais en attendant ils sont remplacés par des bus.
L'une des options sur la table est l'utilisation de la sous-station de Montarroio, pas trop désuète, pour utiliser quelques trolleybus disponibles dans une future ligne touristique.
Si cette option est concrétisée, Coimbra aura certainement la seule ligne de trolleybus touristique au monde.

The only remaining St Helens Corporation Trolleybus at the Museum of Road Transport St Helens Lancashire. English Electric EE 410 BDJ 87 (387) built in 1950 with a East Lancs body, in service until 1958 when the towns trolley system was withdrawn.
(387) then became one of eight purchased by Bradford Corporation (as 799) serving from 1959 to 1971. Owned by the Trolleybus Museum at Sandtoft Yorkshire, and on loan to the St Helens Museum.
