So I enjoyed my weekend to my self last week so much that I have decided to have another one!
I normally travel home for the weekend but it has been becoming a bit much as it leaves me tired. So last weekend I decided to stay here and chill out and I thought I would give it another try.
Plan of action for tonight then is a few beers and a couple of dvd's.

Local historian Christine Trigger showed and talked about one of the specially designed poppies from the Tower of London display marking the centenary of the outbreak of the First World War. The 888,246 poppies were created by artists Paul Cummins and Tom Piper and filled the Tower's famous moat with a sea of red.
I had to do one shot focusing on good ol' Trigger, Willie's trusty old guitar.

Yeay - received a parcel at work today - my ebay delivery. Thanks to Krisnha's [http://www.flickr.com/photos/rage_krisnha/] advise I bought some el cheapo flash remote triggers. I decided the Phottix Tetra with 2 receivers looked good for me. Paid about $50 including delivery and it seems to work all smooth. The flash can be triggered up to 30m away and it shoots 9 out of 10 times - pretty impressive! No ETTL though - all manual setup - but that's good as it allows me to extend my photographic skills.
One of this first couple of shot's was taken in the kitchen where my wife likes to put things in the correct order :)
