Pentax K20D with DA* 16-50mm f/2.8 lens at 50mm, f/2.8, 1/80 sec, ISO 100. Strobist with Vivitar 285HV at 1/2 power at camera right and bounced off of ceiling. Fired with Cactus V4 wireless trigger.

Gosh, we realized that we never introduced our new brother that came to live with us at Christmas. This is Trigger and Santa brought him from The Island of Misfit Toys. That's where toys live that nobody loves because they aren't perfect. Isn't that sad? We don't care that Trigger's wings aren't even or that he has snaggle teeth - we love him just the way he is. Thanks again Santa for our new brother!

P.S. We forgot to mention that eagle-eye Eldritch noticed him under the Christmas tree way back in December! Good for you Eldritch!!

Audio RemoteShot enabled in the Shoot menu using Magic Lantern Beta 1.55 build from August 18 for the Canon 500D. The sensitivity had to be higher in order to be triggered by a Bluetooth headset.

Not sure why but he had tears running down both eyes.

This is the Remote Trigger I made for my Canon EOS 400D.

I didn't like the idea of having to pay £15 for professional looking one, when I could make my own in a matter of minutes. Thrifty or what!

Trigger LLC - Behr Paint House

As I get older, I'm having a harder time remembering things from my past. By using "memory triggers", I can get back to memories of my past. I tend to see everything in terms of images and the triggers help me to see more. The above image has lots of triggers: a Griswold #3 small logo skillet reminds me of the years I spent traveling and collecting cast iron cookware, the cactus napkin holder reminds me of the many times we visited Sedona Arizona, the antique Pyrex cup reminds me of antiquing. Photography was a profession for forty-four years, now it's my biggest memory trigger.
