The most interesting part of this is how I created it; The whole image is just a replication of a triangulated piece roughly 8% the images actual size. Mixed with various blending techniques.
This cowboy and horse scored second place. The bronc's performance accounts for half the rider's score, judges look at darts, dives, twists and rolls. The tougher the ride, the more points the bronc will be scored by the judges. There is a myth about the back strap on the horse making the horse buck. It does put tension on the long muscles so that the horse bucks with both legs up in the air but that is all. The horse has to WANT to buck and from what I see some really love their job like Tribal Arrival here. Sadly, If they didn't have this job they would end up in a can on their way to France. It was good to see him in the money after all he has a family to support. I met his happy wife and kids after the rodeo, she opened her envelope with his winnings offering me money for this shot before I sent it.... just by viewing it in the viewfinder, very trusting people. I had to run after I snapped a few more frames as they were coming right for me. No tripod as it would get in the way of my grand escape ;-)

2019 Vissla Surf Pro, a World Surf League affiliated event, Saturday afternoon, North Steyne, NSW, in the sand. The scene had a Woodstock kind of vibe, so as it's the 50th Anniversary of the great festival I produced the shot with that in mind.

Key Afar market.
This is the main market for the Banna, but it's also visited by other tribes such as Hamer,Konso, Ari and Tsemay which makes it a very colorful place.
Identifying these tribes is very hard, as the Hamer Banna and Tsemay have a lot in common, and living so close together tend to take over each others customs.
