Strobist: One SB600 with shoot through 32"umbrella camera left in bushes1.5 stops over ambient. On bare SB26 in slave mode 2.5 stops over ambient camera right behind Marisa. I really would have liked to have 2 SB600s for this shoot so I could have had a higher synch speed (as it was I was limited to around 1/200th).
It was a fun shoot except for getting eaten up by mosquitos. Strobing action shots is hard!

I had the opportunity to help a friend i met through the Canberra School of Photography, take some photos of a Junior Triathlete Squad. Dan concentrated on getting the formal photos, while i aimed to take some casual moments of the team. Was a great experience.

A bare chested triathlete passes rusty concrete blocks on his way to the race finish. His left knee bears witness to a previous mishap and if you look closely, you can see sweat dripping from his right hand.
I removed a post that appeared to be coming out of the athlete's head; see the previous photo (triathlete in red and white tri-suit) where the post was left in.

My sister-in-law, Laura, has been living with us in the UK since the start of the lockdown. As a professional triathlete trying to train every day, she's having to make do with putting her bike on a trainer in our garage but she's longing to get out and about properly when the restrictions are over.
