Half square triangles I started for a baby quilt; scratched for something a little quicker (pressed for time)
Pawhuska, Oklahoma.
The Triangle Building was built in the middle of two streets that, when joined together.....created a triangle. I guess when this building was constructed that Pawhuska was a busy enough city to warrant building on every square inch available.
I've been coming up to Pawhuska now since about 1992 to visit the Tallgrass Prairie, and to look around on some of my solo photo jaunts. I've seen this building in various states of repair and disarray. It seems like several years ago the building had been renovated and was ready to see life once again. Last weekend, though, I found the building looking perhaps the most vulnerable I've ever seen it.....no windows anywhere? What's going on with it?
Update 1/16/22: This has been, for several years now, the Frontier Hotel. Many people seem to believe it's a Ree Drummond property; it's not (she has her own really nice hotel/b&b). It's actually managed by the same people who run the Mayo Hotel in downtown Tulsa.

This design consists only of triangular frames. I have adjusted the larger Triangular frames to, [I think ] the most optimal dimension. Smaller frames would cause overlapping and larger frames would leave gaps between the larger triangular frames. The larger frames are from paper strips of 36cm x 4cm each and the small Triangular frame is from 21cm x 4cm. This is not a very interesting design. It is also possible to connect 3 Triangular frames in the "Borromean" configuration. It will be more interesting to try it out with Impossible Triangles...later.

Ethne asked for triangle blocks inspired by the illustrations of Leah Duncan.
The block is 10" wide and 9" high. I used batik scraps and Kona Pepper for this triangle.

D made this for me for the challenge out of magna-tiles - best toy ever for a creative 3-year-old. They're much less frustrating than legos.
A delicious blend of triangles from my Fat Quarter Shop bundle and a few extra fabrics including some hoarded AMH fabrics. Made and completed for my husband for Father's Day 2013.

Folded from 3 pieces of 4x1 rectangles. My modification is the top-right one which is folded from 3x1 rectangles. Except for the different dimensions, all the folds are the same. Thanks Nick.
