He was higher than he appears here. It is fascinating to see how they use the ropes for themselves and the saws. The cherry picker couldn't get into the back yard so he did it the old fashioned way. He is 65 years old and in poor health. It was a warm beautiful day today on Lincoln's birthday.

Whilst I had a Cherry Picker on site I took the opportunity of going up and taking a few pics.

Some gardening is more extreme than others, and this tree needed to come down as it was likely to fall on the telephone wires.
My tree surgoen had to get written permission as we are in a preservation area.
