We agreed that it was indeed a marvelous color, and he hurried off while I enjoyed a cup of coffee and the sight 🙏
The sky was blue and the leaves green intense, but I decided to turn it into my black and white.

With frozen fingers I took about 12 shots on automatic hoping somehow the image before me would be captured...

We got walloped with a huge snow storm and a foot of snow a few days ago - even the birds were taking shelter!
Just two trees seemingly on their own sitting on the hillside . I stumbled across these and I just love trees so wanted to grab a capture albeit in the misty rain. This was when we hiked through the mountains in Glencoe.
PS: Away now travelling for the next few days to Phoenix so wont be online much but will try catch up as and when I can my flickr friends.

A beautiful, lone tree, on the banks of Loch Chon in The Trossachs.
The Trossachs is a wild and beautiful mini-highlands of Scotland within an hours drive of Glasgow. One of my favourite locations.
I was lucky enough to find this tree and for some light to break through the clouds (though we won't discuss falling over a fence and landing flat out to get here!). Without the light it is a pretty tree but with the light it shimmers. This demonstrates how important light is in photography, particularly landscapes.
This view up into the tall tree today was enough to make me come back and get some captures.
