I have to credit Flickr friend bjtales for the image I used to be the "nude" behind the couch! The pose and doll in that shot were just too perfect!
I love this picture! I love treehouses! Stayed in one in New Mexico, and another in south India. This one is still a dream...
It reminds me of a kid saying, "Mama, can I go in that picture?"
Here's a shot of the treehouse we just finished* for our daughter Liberty.
It took about three weeks, but most of the work was done over 3-4 weekend days.
*as most of you know, a project like this is never "done"...the zip line is already ordered for phase 2.
Fantasy holiday accomodation one of 3 B&b fantasy houses in the large property. This treehouse nestled in the natural scrub has two bedrooms and a daybed in the loungeroom. Two balconies upstairs, one with a parrot and possum feeder.
the others are an underground Hobbit house, a Japanese villa by a pond, and there is also a castle for weddings
The treehouse at The Alnwick Garden is supposed to be the largest in the world. There is a restaurant on the top floor and a shop on the first floor. It appears that the whole structure is supported by the trees with extra wooden stabilisers round the edges..
This is the treehouse on ko chang, basic accomodation (bamboo huts with shared squat toilets and mandis instead of showers) but by fuck the food was excellent so we stayed further up the beach and came here for dinner

edit... (actually, i can't remember whether it was it Mayu who accidentally left the bananas in the microwave and Itaru turned it on? I can't access my episodes to check right now... and this is sad because i have watched the anime like 3 times over now. someone with a higher power level, help me.)
Treehouse, or Whispering Lodge, or Treetops Bungalow, or Banyan Paradise, depending on who you talk to.
I just started the big job of painting the interior and exterior of this amazing treehouse that the owner is having built for his grandchildren. He told the builders to skedaddle so I could get going on the painting before rains come. The windows aren't in yet, and one will be stained glass, but I started painting today...such a great structure...I may just move in myself!
