Miraculously, my treehouse window garden survived the blizzards, power outages, and deep long darkness of winter in the far north. Well, so far anyway. It isn't over yet.

Before the LEGO Ideas treehouse came out; I had a bunch of different ideas for what treehouses could be. This is one of many. A "CITY"/Town inspired treehouse.
Ava eagerly climbed up there with Scott, but we decided that she might need another year before she tackles the zipline or the rope bridge. Evan opted to stay on the ground.

After I took this photo, Charlotte, on the right, was concerned that she hadn't been looking at the camera.
This is where we slept last night. Tree house point in fall city. I can now say I have slept 40 feet up in a tree. Waking up with the sounds of the raging river, raindrops falling through the forest, laying in bed with my baby... Pretty much the best!
