This wonderful treehouse was built by my Great-Grandfather. He got the idea when he saw my Mom and her friends up in a tree trying to build one themselves, and decided it would probably be better if he built a nice one for them instead of waiting for one of them to fall out of the tree and break a leg or impale themself on a stake or a nail or something.
The final chapter of this variation of the Treehouse. After this quick photo session the upper levels of the treehouse were torn down.

I built this for the kids when they were small. Now they are gone and it is starting to show it's age.
Saw this treehouse on a walk. It must have been built quite a while ago. Notice how the trees on the right side of the treehouse grew faster then those on the left, causing the tilt?

I love this little gazebo perched in the garden. I imagine one feels like tinkerbell while standing inside this lantern shaped treehouse.
