Ya brotan los frutos tiernos
que engendró mi alma en invierno,
ya comienzo a delirar,
a sentirme en el infierno
donde se quema el eterno
tiempo muerto y por matar.
Ya brotan las tiernas ramas
de esta ciencia tan profana
que solo sabe ordenar
que programe para Juana,
que enrede a Paco en sus tramas,
que a Jose le abra ventanas...
que vea Manolo las ganas
que tengo de trabajar.
Ya brota el árbol binario,
viejo, sabio, milenario,
que planté para soñar,
en un terreno no agrario:
un disco duro y precario
que se ha de formatear.
Ya brotan en mi memoria
los recuerdos de una historia
que a veces quiero olvidar,
porque me llenan de euforia
prometiéndome una gloria
que yo no puedo alcanzar.
Only in pixels could you defy gravity this way. The budgies decided to create a tower of themselves. Immortalis decided to hop on top and balance his roots on their tiny feathered noggins. Cannot believe we call this a job ... lol. We love this place.

When I was a kid, I actually thought we were filthy rich. The statment that frequented my lips was "I want" not once, to my recollection did I utter "can we afford for me to want" but then again what kid does ask that question? As far as I was concerned money was paper, paper was made from trees...you see where I'm going and of course, in my mind, we had an invisible money tree in our backyard, where else did all of our money come from?
But as I got older (10ish), the harsh reality that the words "I want" doesnt make things magically appear and the fact that there was no money tree, FINALLY sunk in, I then learned my biggest and maybe my first life lesson: MONEY DOESNT GROW ON TREES!
Unless you have a magical one like mine. I won it in a bet...and they only made one...and no I'm not sharing! :)

I´m Ai Enma.
Although not originally this way, Ai has a cold personality. Even in emotion-evoking situations, she doesn't appear moved in the least. Additionally, Ai is oddly silent and serious. She seems to only talk when the need arises, rarely speaking simply for the sake of it. In the event that Ai does talk out of ordinary circumstances, it is about something which she believes is necessary for someone to know, or to correct somebody where needed. The main reason for her introverted personality is due to her emotions being locked up when she was made into the Jigoku Shoujo.
Delphina Audina let us know that a budgie hike was in progress at the B&B SIM. When we arrived, Betty Rogan and friends came storming down the heathered hills as a flock of budgies and surrounded us, doing the tiny river dance. I've never laughed so hard in my life. Immortalis decided to treat Delphina to his own version of a "living tree" performance, wearing our old oak and stomping around. I was nearly in tears with all the feathers flying. Every day is more and more surreal.

I'm finally catching up on my posts. Things got really busy for me right after Christmas and I never got around to processing these shots. Better late than never.
Savanah got this Christmas Tree last year. Being that she got it on Christmas day, we decided to wait until Christmas Eve this year to open it up and use it.
You pour the "magic" water into the base and in twelve hours it grows crystal leaves. Even though we told Savanah that it would take twelve hours, she kept checking on it every few minutes. The rest of us weren't much better.
If we ever do a tree thing like this again I think I might try and time lapse it. We'd have to set it up earlier in they day though. I wasn't about to camp out in Kathy's parent's kitchen over night snapping a picture every 30 minutes are so.
We called it the secret garden after we found it behind a cafe in Takapuna on the North Shore in Auckland. Dining under a huge plum tree. Magic!
Curiously, we never found it again.
That was in 2009.
Just recently I got a discount voucher offer for a Swiss cafe featuring a tree in its courtyard.
I was sure it was 'our tree'.
And yes, it was.
The grounds had been levelled, tiled court, more chairs and tables but it didn't have that secret garden feel anymore

When we started this big adventure I’d read that the North Island was the subtropical one, and the South was more temperate. So I’d imagined the palm tree magic might be over by the time we got here. But no so! What a lush place for an elevensies snack bar wouldn’t you agree? I just had to pop my socks off and have a wade about in the cool waters. I saw a fish!… But it was only 5cms or so long. Not much meat on that for tea ;) We were joined again by our intelligent bird brained friends the Wekas. Once again coming to check us out and see if we had any tea spoons or shiny watches worth nicking. This poor fella only had one eye, but that didn’t slow him down. In fact I started to wonder if it was just a marketing ploy to make you feel sorry for him and put you off guard ;) You know these fellas can out-run rabbits and rip guinea pigs apart at the seams? Our Weka expert back at Owlcatraz said they hunt very much like the Velocoraptor’s in Jurassic Park… But I think he’s kinda charming… for an Evil Chicken
