Picture of the sunset in the background of trees captured in motion with a dim light setting to capture the shadows
The freezing blue sky's and the snowy fields give a beautiful backdrop for the main focus of this photo, the tree. Captured on a snowy day in December 2011, this simple landscape captures the beauty of extreme winters in the countryside, untouched and unblemished.

I regularly photograph this tree, capturing it in different lights and seasons. This was when it was in full blossom a couple of weeks ago.
Another view of my parents massive property. Country life is SO beautiful. The deep colors of the trees really contrasted with the white landscape and creates amazing depth. This picture was taken early in the morning with plenty of light. I adjusted my ISO to 200 to accommodate. My very favorite unintentional background element is the load of hay bales between the trees. Capturing a picture in Idaho WITHOUT hay bales? Well, that is quite a feat ;)
