Typical scene of the bush around Canberra region with different Eucalyptus species (or 'gum trees') that are endemic to the region.
During out visit to New Zealand one of my goals was to photograph the Wanaka tree. Each time that I photograph something I try to get a high key shot to see what will happen. This was the result.
Saw these cedar trees on the shore of Blue Mountain Lake in Arkansas. With the large buttresses, they reminded me of cypress trees in the south.
My artistic impression of one of my favourite grouping of trees in Algonquin Park. They sit on an island on Lake Opeongo.
Before landing on the Airport of Marrakesh, I saw from the plane window many dots on the earth. They stretch as far as eye can see. Later during my journey, I realized they are all argan trees. Nothing taller than them grow on this land.
This was a series of pics I am doing in the run up to Halloween, my favourite festival of the year. Big up to my man Coobs for inadvertently providing the inspiration for the pics and the location, Elven Mist, a beautifully disturbing and awesome build.
Frosty trees on my favourite rural road during the morning sun. That day was a super day. The trees were still covered by the frozen mist of the day before. But at the end of the afternoon all was melted. Purmerland, 2017.
