Love is in the air
Everywhere I look around
Love is in the air
Every sight and every sound
And I don't know if I'm being foolish
Don't know if I'm being wise
But it's something that I must believe in
And it's there when I look in your eyes
Love is in the air
In the whisper of the trees
Love is in the air
In the thunder of the sea
And I don't know if I'm just dreaming
Don't know if I feel sane
But it's something that I must believe in
And it's there when you call out my name................

The 1909 Alaska Yukon Pacific Exposition in Seattle, Washington not only had a igloo and real Inuit people but also circulated a tinted postcard (the postcard above) of a sleeping Inuk baby, dressed in a skin bunting with a large fur ruff, resting against a totem pole. This lead to the creation of "Eskimo" dolls for sale to tourists. LINK - books.google.ca/books?id=hiMxDwAAQBAJ&pg=PT137&lp...

Yeah I'm still here, I've been busy with some more projects but I'll almost finished. This is a contest entry and the theme is Whimsy, I'm guessing that's the same thing as whimsical.
It was taken in Winchester, KY and is the KY River. Went with the wife and some family to eat @ Hall's on the River. Had some good food and a good time, also got my favorite beverage which is bottled in Winchester, KY. Take a look in my photostream and I think you'll figure out what it is. Notice the shipwreck in the shot. I'll have a closer shot of it for you later.
Fashion among treas and other plant are common, a blue bell is often blue, the stem of most treas are brown except for among a few brave species like birch and so on... Some treas like this one are even braver and knitted a nice suit with patterns, I celebrate the Brave!

The Queen was furious at her Old friend the mage...
How could he run an explosive experiment in her garden, the garden she showed him in complete confidence...
She was thinking about drugging him and slowly roast him to death above redhot coal...
...or perhaps drug him and flay him slowly, no wait if she drugged him he would feel less paint...
while standing there in the lumpy garden turned to sot and burned out black remnants of what was once beautiful foliage in many more colors than this ash grey mess, she reflected that the garden looked very similar to her own heart right now, spot one of her pet dogs and darling, made a small sound and she rushed to his side expecting him to be in some danger, but luckily he wasn´t he had found a small ashy grey panel behind what used to be the garden spring...
when she touched it the panel fell off and there was a small dark tubelike cave with tiny stairs...
...she went in there to explore but had to wait half an hour before she managed to get him in to the dark damp place, he was such a little aristocrat always afraid to get his paws dirty...
they ventured mostly downwards step by step in complete darkness after a few minutes they started to see a small glow at the end of the tunnel, then light and another stairway downwards! to her surprise she could hear distant water flow!
When she came out in to the light and her eyes got use to the light again, she found her self in a large cave with a ruins of old walls and castle like structures.
...and then she could see a small stream, and treas and plants growing in the dim light, here were toads, bats, even msall mammalian critters like rabbit and birds, when she looked up she could see sky very far up and sunlight through a small hole...
So that was where that bottomless pit at the top of the castle lead, the pit where many drunk troops on guard duty had fallen never to be seen again, but who cared about them now when she had found herself a new paradise to cultivate, this time she would not share the secret with the wizard, he was not to be trusted!
Just 20 hours after her rescue, Trea arrived at her foster home, and she immediately felt like home.
6 dogs (2 large, 4 small), young children, adults - she loves everybody!!!
She was a little sad to see me go, but I had to move on to my next rescue.
