This one and another couple of photogenic treas were cut down before the big storms came in . There was one dead tree that the crows used to roost in and at times the dead tree had lovely Glossy black foliage .

Fenniarail's timber train is entering in the wonderful nature of Naarajärvi while pulling a long timber train. As the train is approaching Pieksämäki where the direction is going to be switched, the locomotive gives a beutyfull addition in the centre of nature as it is piercing the scene.
The spring sunshine bathed the Kirk of St Nicholas graveyard, lightening the grey grim grants headstones.
The Kirk of St Nicholas is arguably the most important and undervalued building in the royal burgh of Aberdeen. The present structure is mainly of 18th and 19th century date, but incorporates portions of the 12th century church and stands on the site of the 15th century building, which was one of the largest and most prestigious burgh churches in Scotland. The archaeological significance of the Kirk and its precinct has several facets: Surviving remains of upstanding structures in the transepts dating from the 12th century are of major significance to the study of Scottish mediaeval parish and burgh churches. Fragments of architectural and decorative stonework from earlier church buildings are located at various places within the present structure and are worthy of further study and interpretation. Excavations within Collinson’s Aisle (North transept) in 1974 and evaluation work more recently in 2004 and 2005 have amply demonstrated that archaeological deposits dating to the period of 12th and 15th century structures remain below the present building. It is possible that evidence may also exist below ground of an even earlier church building. It is vital that all these features are protected and, should the opportunity arise, be explored further. Very little is known from archaeological evidence about the form and construction of pre-15th century Scottish burgh churches. The Kirk and Kirkyard have been used for burial for at least 900 years. Several fine monuments of the 17th century and later date survive within the Kirk and Kirkyard, while others have been discovered during recent archaeological work inside the Kirk. Many of the external memorials are in a poor state of repair and there is a need for a programme of detailed recording and conservation work. www.kirk-of-st-nicholas.org.uk/archaeological/
It's been snowing here in London over the last couple of days, but I haven't had a chance to take any pics to show it, apart from this random pair of trees, which stand just outside my office..
I wish you all a Happy New Year.. again!!

I upload this in 2 Versions - colour an B/W. One as a nature photo - and one for the mind. If anybody have some thoughts I would be happy to hear! I wish you all a Nice weekend. Enjoy every second of life! :-)
This is a picture from Vienna, it is taken somewhere in the fifth distric of Margareten I have been browsing street-view on the map thing to be able to geotag it right, but couldn´t find the street in question, it must be Pretty close to Schloßgasse since a picture before that was taken there :)
Ok, I admit, I browsed the street-view-map far to long just as an excuse for being back in Vienna for a while, even though it was only in my retina and imagination :)
one of the biggest differences being i Malmö, Sweden or Vienna, Austria is the smells, Vienna has scents and Malmö smells nothing, I miss being able to smell Vienna, since my memories of that start to fade slowly...
Also the sounds are different, I remember when I was out with an old friend from Sweden which I knew before I mored to vienna but moved seven years, We where pubbing and/or clubbing at aprox. 23.00 on a friday, she stopped me at a party street and she said: Danny Listen!
...and so I did, I just shrugged my shoulders and said: Yeah Party noises! what is so special with that!
She said something like listen and compare to Sweden party noises, Then I understood what she was talking about, these party noises was full of joy and laughter and you wouldn´t hear any angry people just cheerfullness, that is lovely!
Peace and Noise!
/ MushroomBrain Just Danny from the block!
This is just north of the Tonle Bati Lake and on the boder to Takeo Province.
Not much fun to stay there, I guess - it looks like a prison and I sometimes hear the sound of paramilitary exercises from across the wall at 7 in the morning. But better than Indonesia, where drug addicts face the death penalty. The name of the institution just begs for the acronym DARAC.
doesn´t it look a bit like the reality is being ruptured by some natural space-time cataclysm breaking down or urban space-time in to natural fractals?
Enough about that pic, taken in Malmoe, SE, Where I live right now!
Today I am so tired, so my word count when writing is around 5 words a min. another bad night sleep, well soon I will start venturing in to the real world again, I am not certain I am up to it, well, I will have to take it in small steps, first just down the local second hand shop, then perhaps even to the city centre where this picture is taken of the hotel and building known as the "Sheraton building" by locals after the first hotel chain to own it...
hopefully I will have a good night sleep tonight, was quite some time ago...
Peace and Noise!

Today I started in a photography mentor group led by Bart Siebelink. Our first working area was the heath fields.
This young beech tree died standing in between the heath but gave a safe place to rest to the lady bird.
