This week's challenge was trapped and shooting in manual mode. I used two images and a blue background to create this one image.

I didn't realize this butterfly was trapped by the spiderweb when I took this first picture. I was wondering about my weird luck to have found such a beauty hanging over my head so still for me. As soon as I realized what happened, I jumped up and down several times to break the web open and saved it. :)

Hi guys! I haven't uploaded anything in ages, but that's probably the way it's going to be like most of the time until May, as this is my final year of school and I have the most important exam of my life coming up... I still have time to take photos, but rarely to upload them, unfortunately.

I hope you guys like this shot - it's yet another experiment, and it took way more work than it might seem... It's a trial and error process, though, so I'm not mad! :D

Helen behind bars. This was our hotel window over looking one of the canals in Venice. Why the bars? No idea.. either to stop people getting in, or non-paying guest getting out.

Just some random leaf trapped in branches that has caught my eye.

For the group..........A Thought for the Day

(Scan vom Dia)

In my opinion the most beautiful photo location on the Seefeld high plateau was on the southern edge of Seefeld. From the bypass road, where the radar trap is often located, you used to have a great panoramic view. 4020 106 was reflected here in October 1991 on the way to Innsbruck. Nowadays there are more trees in the picture, the lake has silted up a bit and the new concrete overhead line pylons are now on the lake side. (scan from slide)

My good friend Peter EW&F suggested that I improve my bug trap to save the Honey Bees.

I haven't caught any Honey Bees yet mostly flies and ants but I improved it anyway just incase, I can now open the lid and let them out.

See original trap below.

Have a great day!
