The North Bay Trappers defeated the Temiscaming Royals 5-3 in their home opener at Memorial Gardens on Friday night.
Sacha Guimond led the Royals attack with 1 goal and 2 assists. Jonathan Aubertin, JP Kascsak, Spencer Doduk and Scott Pawson had the other goals for the Jr. A Trappers who even their record at 2-2 on the season.
The Royals were led by Andre Leclair who finished with 2 goals while Cole Workman added a single.
The games three stars were Sacha Guimond, Royals Goalie Matt Zawadski and Jonathan Aubertin.
