This week’s theme for my 52 project is “Transport.” My initial thought was to do a public transit shot. I do like taking pictures of streetcars, subways, stations, etc. However, I then saw a few things in my area that also worked for the theme. I think my sub theme for this week is red, since both my shots focus on red modes of transport.
This is my alternate shot. It’s a vintage fire truck at the station next door to the Y. I did play with the colours a little to draw more attention to the vehicle and fire hydrant.

Today's story and sketch "by me" I am again sketching here in Sunny southern Florida for the opening day celebration of the newest worm hole travel company here at Knobby's Wonder World. The stargate terminal is located in the Tiki Village area of WW, the terminal was designed by the famous jungle idiot savant Penso Numpti. Knobby met Penso while reclaiming the fifty square miles of Gator infested swamp that he received in his lawsuit against the Galaxy Scouts organization that accidentally left him behind on Earth during a field trip, which was all explained in previous tales and sketches. Knobby meet Penso when he was releasing some of the thousands of Gators he would catch with his bare alien three fingered hands and release into lake Okeechobee. At that time Penso was truly a jungle boy who it turns out was left behind himself by his group of intergalactic explorer scouts, who believed he had been swallowed whole by a 18 foot Gator where Penso was last seen, but Penso was an excellent swimmer and had swam away to safety. It only took him a few years to realize he had been abandoned and spent most of his time carving Tiki's. Until he met Knobby 97 years later. He and Knobby became best friends and Wonder Worlds official tiki hut and terminal designer. At the top of the terminal you see Ruth Svetlan a Gawanies Dung Beetle and owner of "Dung Worm Hole Tours", above you see her husband Niles with a customer arriving from the planet Voodoom, until next time taa ta the Rod Blog.

I’ve been unable to source any information about McClenaghan Transport of Slamannan in Lanarkshire, but did notice a couple of its trucks at Truckfest Scotland 2021. This fictional ERF KV is presented in the livery of the company’s preserved ERF LV. One of the most distinctive cabs of its era, the fibreglass KV ‘Kleer View’ was offered from 1954 until replaced by the LV in 1962, which later metamorphosed into the A-Series (22-Apr-23).

Sunday 21st May 2023 saw the arrival of the Harlow Classic bus running day into the area, an event provided by the Amersham & District Motorbus Society in conjunction with Arriva.
On this day, a number of vehicles set out to recreate former routes operated in Harlow itself and across the surroundings areas.
A unique double deck coach ordered by London Transport to assess suitability for Green Line operations in 1957, AEC Routemaster/ECW SLT59 (CRL4) passes along First Avenue in Harlow with a Route 718 service for Loughton.
This is also the only Routemaster to have bodywork provided by Eastern Coach Works 21/05/23
