In the churchyard on Canoe Lake road. Slightly out of focus, but I like the light coming through the petals.
These jellies are only visible due to the diffraction of the light. Very nice to see but I still don't get how to get them perfectly sharp with all the details on camera

A fragile, translucent moon jellyfish (Aurelia Aureliaaurita) drifts past in dark waters, visible only because of the artificial light illuminating it.

Is that some sort of lacewing? Might be genus Hemerobius.

Me in my campsite at Jackson Lake State Park in March 2012. I took a short overnight tour early this season from the town of Brush, CO to Jackson Lake and back. This was an 8-second exposure where I walked away too soon and turned into a translucent camper.
This is one of the exquisite irises I planted last fall. It is blooming in all its glory here in Charlotte, were the temperatures have been in the 70's and 80's (F).
