Side view - wings are pretty scummy/dirty as I was very careless rolling the translucent out, and see - the spikes on his neck pulled away! Grrrr....
When the morning sun hits this cactus it becomes translucent and reveals thickness variations.

I've been waiting what seems like forever on these girls. Because of Canada's postal strike it took weeks for them to arrive. Anyway, they're here and I'm thrilled! Thanks Jenn!! So many reroots to plan now!
I used a variety of techniques to photograph these wild looking creatures drifting below the surface in one of the Chesapeake Bay's tributary; the mighty Severn River. I became fascinated at watching them move about; gently propelling themselves within the currents. I hope you enjoy these. Please let me hear from you.

This is a translucent Tibetan Zhi with seven eyes. I display this piece here just for a short while,
after that I am going to give it to my best friend as a gift.

One of the three large "raised" forms that came out of the kiln this morning had a large crack in it, on the base where it must have been hammered very thin. I do like the translucency however! A clementine for scale...

These cute little mushrooms are growing around the trees at the apartment complex, but only by the bus stop. They're incredibly delicate, which is surprising considering the hardier mushrooms were torn to pieces by dogs a month ago.
