White and Yellow Hearts:
translucent red glass over colored opaque cores,, first introduced in the 1600’s by the Venetians, remain popular beads, which are still in production.
Newly discovered Selenium was used in the production of the translucent red outer glass between approximately 1890 and 1930, giving a more garish ruby red outer color. Its use was discontinued when it became more expensive than the gold which had been used previously.
Venetian Green Hearts:
opaque red glass over a translucent green core- traded into the Americas by the Spanish & still found in limited numbers in West Africa today All beads from the collection of MBAD/ABA African Bead Museum.
These cute little mushrooms are growing around the trees at the apartment complex, but only by the bus stop. They're incredibly delicate, which is surprising considering the hardier mushrooms were torn to pieces by dogs a month ago.
An index of age is the length of the nose...bottom of eyes to nose tip...relative to bottom of eyes to back of skull. Here the nose length is approximately equal to the skull length. Mature Does have much longer nose ratio. Do not get caught judging your wife's nose ratio...she will know what you are doing.
I LOVE LOVE LOVE this girl!!! Cobalt blue hair, translucent "skin", and pretty colors for all four sets of eye chips. I couldn't have asked for a more perfect doll for my birthday gift. :)
I think I will give her bangs, though.
