One of the three large "raised" forms that came out of the kiln this morning had a large crack in it, on the base where it must have been hammered very thin. I do like the translucency however!
This is Stratford 6-50 porcelain from Tucker, fired around cone 7-8 in oxidation.
Cracked when I opened her up. This would be about the fourth time I've opened her up.. She was perfect before. The cracks are pretty bad, so I'll be changing her face plates to regular ones. Poor Quinn will be having cosmetic surgery in a couple of weeks.
Hand-constructed wooden fire extinguisher container. Imagine a hairdo inspired by the lightpoles on the top level of the distant parking garage. "Expo Stucco" behind a translucent plastic film.

Actually not an active part of my collection, rather a prospective head donation source for my "Rei in test plugsuit" resin kit conversion. But the SEGA figure's head truned out to be too small, so I took some pics (for an well-knowen online auction platform) and will sell the figure soon, since I normally do not collect this kind of items. But for the gallery, it's O.K. ^^
I suspect this has evolved so they can see underwater. The bill structure is fascinating.

Ah, Memphis! Yep, not the 8' of snow we were told to prepare for. Nope! Just a few inches of ice. Enough for me to watch the blue, green and orange light show emanating from the exploding power lines and transformers. Fun times!
The kawakawa leaves were all full of holes and this little translucent slug looked very guilty, but had a fully tummy at the same time.
