Just received my Newton eMate 300. Jonthan Ive's first attempt in traslucent plastic product design for Apple (if we exclude some earlier transparent case Newton MessagePads).
3 Newts in the collection right now.
The battery still works!!!
The plan is now to connect it to the Internet via wi-fi (I collected all the nedeed hardware over the years).

I cut out pieces from translucent white plastic Healthy Choice Steamer bowls for light diffusion purposes.
One of the three large "raised" forms that came out of the kiln this morning had a large crack in it, on the base where it must have been hammered very thin. I do like the translucency however!
This is Stratford 6-50 porcelain from Tucker, fired around cone 7-8 in oxidation.
I finished my sister's birthday present! :)
I made her a vintage handkerchief dress to match her eyelids. I also handpainted 3 of her eye chips. This was my first attempt at a semi open mouth, it was fun! ♥
Ah, Memphis! Yep, not the 8' of snow we were told to prepare for. Nope! Just a few inches of ice. Enough for me to watch the blue, green and orange light show emanating from the exploding power lines and transformers. Fun times!

All the colors are in the stream of light photons detected by the sensor chip. Each composition highlights different colors and hues that were present in different proportions in the sunlight as reflected by the moon and filtered by the clouds and atmospheric molecules...
